That moment when you finish the build, peel back the plastic to view your new creation and...the tempered glass is chipped.

Time to experience every emotion imaginable, cry silently, sit wishing it never happened for an hour then submit an RMA, begin disassembly pissed off, pack the box back up and go to sleep feeling like shit.

...or at least that's how I've always handled it.

I opened a ticket with Fractal asking if just a panel can be sent. If they say no, no choice but to return the case to Amazon.

Yeah that's how it usually goes with most manufacturers. Kind of dumb. You'd think they jump on the opportunity to make money off selling replacement parts. I say that because it'd enable them to just accept the pane of glass back. How bad is the chip? Pics?

Not terrible, just annoying and dead freaking center

Jeez, I was thinking a corner but that's a surface chip. If it's on the outside I can't think of a way for that to happen in shipping. That's a QC problem.

It's on the outside. No doubt about it, that's a decent chip on a brand new case. It's weird, I originally thought I'd been sent a used case by mistake because someone had scratched up the plastic sheet over the glass further down, then clumsily tried to stick it back on. Wish I'd taken a picture now.
