  1. push out? you mean shove down your throat? at least they are trying, windows 8 emoji support was worse. All of their time is spent figuring out how to make it harder to block updates.
  2. hmm mine on chrome windows 10 1607 is different
  3. I just spent about an hour opening up my laptop trying to troubleshoot my touchpad not working and it turns out it was somehow disabled in the bios.
  4. it shows up as a flag and then a rainbow http://imgur.com/a/a4vzg
  5. sadly doesnt show up right in windows
  6. My graphics Lets hope images work this time! Edit- ahh shit no they don't
  7. you're using (gasp!) microsoft edge? btw your time also says 19:11 which is close to 9:11
  8. all of you with those fancy desktops and heres me with stock win10 do images still not work? stopped giving shits about theming a long time ago.
  9. I would try formatting it then, sounds like some filesystem level corruption. Same thing happened to me when I didnt safely remove my backup hdd, all my files were gone and it showed as readonly. I tried every adapter combination, and ended up using DBAN on it and to this day it works.
  10. Oh ok good to hear, you are saying the system does not see it at all, but your laptop does?
  11. whoa shit! backup didn't work? how important is the stuff there? Is it duplicated anywhere else? NCIX has a vid on dying hdds but not ssds, but I would assume some of the same techniques can be used. idk if I'm allowed to post vids here but its linus speaking so
  12. did you backup? And how old is it? I would try a full wipe(not quick format) to make sure its not corruption on the filesystem.
  13. I guess I'll post my humble s2 from 2011. It does everything I need, but the battery is horrible and I cant seem to get a oem replacement Its on airplane mode because I don't have a sim in it so having the cell radio on is pointless.
  14. try this, but in the first step do root=sda1 https://www.chrissearle.org/2008/08/13/Booting_from_grub_shell/ I think you need a fat32 boot partition for this to work with uefi
