  1. Would the 750 offer a better efficiency curve with my wattage? I mainly use the PC for gaming, light load work is done on a laptop. So if the tower is on, a game is being played.
  2. I looked at the 750 but it's not shipping via prime so it's going to take middle of next week. If I can keep it under $150 I'll be happy.
  3. My 10 year old Rosewill RD700 died last night. Now I'm in the market for a new power supply, It seems Corsair is the way to go. I have a 8700k stock clock, and a ASUS 1080 8GB. I don't have plans to upgrade either of those unless they die. The "How many watts do I need" thread points to a 550w+ would a RM650x be an okay choice? Or should I go higher?
  4. I ordered the screwdriver in a rushed panic to secure my spot in wave one. If I were to order bits afterwards, will they ship with the screwdriver and possible save on shipping?
  5. I’ve chosen to keep the MX500
  6. I bought both drives off Amazon the evo was $79.99 and the MX500 was $69.99 they seem to perform the same. Which one is the better one? I plan to return on just wasn’t sure which one. It’s use case is running windows and a game or two along with usual programs.
  7. I had my nic set for wake on lan and had the same issue of it constantly turning on and azure was also sending them to me as well. So I just gave up on the wake on lan.
  8. I have used Wake-on-LAN Packet sniffer from apreltech and it worked well. https://www.apreltech.com/Free/Wake_on_lan_Packet_Sniffer
  9. I would give Cox a call as it may need I new provision signal especially if there were any recent changes. Be it the plan changed or if the modem is new.
  10. That should work perfectly fine. If you need help with permissions I could help out. But they aren't that hard once you get use the the structure.
  11. A nuc would work fine, I found a thread on ts3's forum someone suggested a 1core 768mb ram VPS for a 100-200 slot server. from my personal hosting I used a laptop from 2007 that had 4gb of ram and some old CPU from 2007 and it worked fine for around 40 people.
  12. I'm also just curious on how much was the TeamSpeak server?
  13. Also I don't believe a dedicated server is completely nessesry and would be a bit overkill. And I'm not sure how much research you have done but you have to apply for a nonprofit license and have a dedicated website with no ads or donation areas. http://npl.teamspeakusa.com/ts3npl.php
  14. I don't believe discords overlay is overwolf it is made by discord. now teamspeaks overlay is from overwolf. Just to clarify.
  15. I will probably use a separate pc to stream now that I think about it but I basically never stream. I believe I'm going to get a i5 7600k Thank you all for your help
