well those packet sniffers are made to filter those things and asemble the packets there is a blocked host ip list in windows, if i where you i would traceroute it before blocking it

if its encrypted you cant read it and it will mostly show up like messed up binary

for the VM hosting im still considering ether unraid or if necessary Vsphere altough the price is way to high for Vsphere storage vms are going to run a cusomized mint distro and the reason not for choosing a virual swich is becouse of bandwith control i need over those VM's

well this is kind of awkward..... i have build a lot of pc's and worked for a repair shop and need help planning a build. since i started planing my new pc i am kind of torn on the cpu at first i thought the e5-2630 v4 was as good choise and it tuns out it isnt that great for my usage goal............ well just to clarify what i intend of using it for main VM's: powerful gaming and work VM secondary guest VM crypto-rendering VM storage VM's backup archive non redundant network storage my plan is to intentionally give every VM its own network connection to comunicate, this might sound weird since it shares some resources, this is done to allow other clients to connect to there arcive etc. previosly this is what i have planned (hardware) some things are missing from this list like HDD storage, this is because they are not relevant for the cpu choise its a wierd build becuase of one reason: i need a lot of power, i want that power to actually look good on my desk and not in the server closet.

you shoud use a xeon, if you want 2011-3 i recomend e5-2630 v4

just what i wanted at first if it woud not be that my airflow can only go past my GPU wich does not like hot cpu exhaust i am still considering air cooling as a main it just has some difficulties
