Was planning on using 4TB Drives, So i can do the exact same SAN setup with a 10GbE setup? Could i get a part list, not exactly sure where to purchase server parts yet.
They don't offer a Firbe Channel System, would you mind helping me getting the parts chosin? Like initial (for a server & storage add on) & the extras i would need for each other server.
If they dont provide it how much would initial setup cost?
Cause the "LSI SAS 9300-8e SAS 12Gb/s PCIe 3.0 8-Port Host Bus Adapter" costs around $450. What other stuff would i need besides cabling?
I'd use it just to screw around with it. Not sure what they all have but if you could have LED's match the CPU Temp, Overall Temp.ect would be cool IMO.
I just want the option to be able to easily expand the servers storage. The server's specs ill be gettining are: (Going to be used for web hosting.) So what i thought it did was correct? Just differn't naming? would i being using 2 of these "LSI SAS 9300-8e SAS 12Gb/s PCIe 3.0 8-Port Host Bus Adapter" + would i need a raid controller on both machines or just one?
