  1. As many of you may know, Caselabs has went out of business and I just so happen to have one of their SMA-8 cases. My issue is, I didn't order the radiator mounts for a 560mm radiator in the basement area before they went out of business. Do any of you know where I could find them? Preferably in gunmetal but black would be fine as well. Thanks in advance.
  2. We eventually laugh it off. Pick a side bro...
  3. So I was sitting there at lunch and my friend comes over and gets triggered about something. He then proceeded to throw away my half full Mountain Dew. I then tell him, "you'll get yours". A couple weeks go by and I then get my opportunity to strike, I throw away his sandwich container Tupperware. Who's side are you going to take the provoker, or the provokee?
  4. I agree completely. Right now is a terrible time for the high end PC market with GPU prices and CPUs not meeting the needs of people. Granted, the kind of stuff I do is just a minority.
  5. I'm going to be buying another motherboard, that Is on another platform x299 most likely. 6950k is irrelevant at this point. It's powerful, but their are better solutions
  6. 2x 1080Ti's, WiFi adapter, 2x NVMe drives, and finally a BlackMagic Intensity Pro... I don't use ALL of my lanes but it uses more than 28 total
  7. Yeah, that was my reason for the 5930k instead of 5820k
  8. 7900X is the one I was looking at before I made this post, it seems to be everything I want. The price is a little daunting but it might be justified. The 7820X is sadly out of the picture, purely because of the decrease in lanes. The 7900x might be my only choice so far. Thanks for the input! More of a want than a need if anything, don't get me wrong, it's a great CPU but it feels a little dated in my system.
  9. A little bit of everything, gaming, video editing, graphic design, and a little bit of CAD. That's the reason I went with the 5930k at the time, as it was best overall at the time and it didn't sacrifice too much single core performance for multi core performance, and like I mentioned before, pci-e lanes.
  10. Hello, I currently have a 5930k and I was wondering if there is an upgrade path that I could take right now. It's not like it is a limiting factor right now but I have been looking into getting a new mobo and if I'm going to do that, it seems kinda pointless in getting another x99 board... I use almost all my pci-e lanes so I'm not really willing to upgrade to a cpu with less lanes. What are your guy's suggestions on an upgrade? Thanks in advance!
  11. well so far nothing has gone the way I hoped. I couldn't even get past the first step of turning my CPU multiplier to 45 and vcore to 1.3v. it is very disheartening
  12. ThermalTake water 3.0 360 Riing. I have not had any thermal problems so I scratched that off long ago. I would go custom loop, and to be honest I really should because of my case, but I digress.
  13. Thanks for the quick reply, I have already used this video in the past. I will re-watch it and then tell you how it goes.
  14. My system: CPU: I7 5930k @ 3.5GHz GPU: 2x EVGA 1080Ti Hybrid MOBO: ASrock X99 Extreme4 RAM: G.Skill Value 2133MHz ( a bit of an odd one but I had to save money somewhere) Storage: Samsung 850 PRO 120GB (Boot Drive) & Seagate ST2000 2TB I have not really overclocked a cpu to much prior to this btw. Anyway, I have been trying to achieve a 4.0 and a 3.9 OC on my 5930k and every time I try I load windows and then to a black screen. Now usually this means that I don't have enough voltage through the chip ( at least that is what I heard) My process of overclocking is very simple as I do not want to many variables to troubleshoot at once. I change the core multiplier to 40 and put the Vcore at 1.1v. Everything else is at default settings. I really am just hoping that I overlooked something and that I didn't lose the silicon lottery that badly. I for some reason feel as if it has something to do with the ram, since it is only rated at 1.2v and is very generic. Thanks in advance.
