Upgrades, to my setup and the PC its'self for 2016
doinurmop replied to doinurmop's topic in New Builds and Planning
Actually that's like a tenner more expensive. So not less. As long as it can run GTA 5 at max settings, same with oculus rift games, I'll be fine. My god my mother probably gonna be spending more money next year on me then she did this year. gg -
When it arrives, mine letting me know, if it's possible for one of the buttons to be programmed to "Ctrl+Z"? Since I have no macro keys with the keyboard I'll be getting, It'd be nice to have when I'm drawing, due to my tablet having no buttons.

Upgrades, to my setup and the PC its'self for 2016

GTX 970 will be fine for me man. To be honest, I'm mostly planning it for my keyboard mouse, desk etc. Since, by god I need those upgraded. 390? Mind giving me an amazon link if you can? -
Right, I've planned out how I'm gonna spend my money in 2016, to buy my new setup, heck some of it may even be bought for me on my birthday, though the GPU and such will most likely be xmas 2016. Just copy and pasting this from notepad, if you want to make any suggestions and share your opinions go ahead <3. "Things to buy next year, either birthday, own money, or XMAS GOgroove SonaVERSE LBr 2.1 Speakers (£22 buy first) New Corsair Cherry MX Blue K70 (£119) Mousepad: Corsair MM200 (£28) Mouse: G502 (Possibly £50 may change) new GPU GTX 970 (about £265) New desk (£60-£120) Power supply 750 watts corsair (£70) Possibly Oculus Rift (no clue) First month: Speakers and mousepad Second month: mouse Third month: £80 In total. Fourth month: keyboard Fith month: £80 Sixth Month: £140 P.S: Check charity shop, they usually have good large desks for like £20-£60 Current desk: 21 inches tall 44 inches across 15 inches wide Note 1: Buy GPU And Power supply last, since my current PC is good enough for all the games I play, and it's the least of my concerns atm. I'll probably just get that and the PS for XMAS 2016 anyway."

Ah okay, I was just making sure. Got confused, since it said price instead of sale. As long as it stays at that price, I'll be able to buy it next year with everything else thankfully

G710 has a volume wheel aswell. I'll have to agree with you know, I fucking love the volume wheels man.

My brother has the Corsair MX Blue, which is how I know, the blue's are damn nice. I guess I'll buy corsair then, I need to last for quite a while, so having a bad build quality would be horrendous in my case Thanks man

I see, I guess I'll consider heavily on getting the corsair. Hopefully, the mouse I'm getting has the option for a Ctrl+Z button in the settings, that'd make it easy for when I'm drawing. Also you got seinheisers too? Off topic, but what ones you got?

I'll be honest, as much as I like the LEDS, they're of no use to me, I have a massive tv, and I have no problem ever typing at night, on this VERY CHEAP not even mechanical keyboard. On that note, what about it not having macro keys though? I mean yes the other version has them, but that's a bit expensive,

Mind if I ask the reasons why?

It's on sale? what price is it usually?

Basically, I've been wondering what one to get, the corsair has a UK layout version, the build quality seems better, of course they both have lights and they're both mechanical (Blue is what I'll be getting) But I was wondering which one to actually get. They're both basically the same price too, the only about the G710 is that it has 6 macro keys, and seeing as I have an art tablet without buttons, that would be really useful. Though then it has a German layout, and no UK one, which is a big turn off for me, since I don't really want to get used to a new layout. Anyway, what's your guys opinions? What do you think I should get?

Quick question, I was wondering, does anyone know a good mousepad that is great for control/aiming, that has an extended edition? Don't really have a budget.

Hat got a bit pixelated while resizing

You have to lay the box on it's side, hold it, AND THEN PULL THE BOX(ES) INSIDE OUT? WTF THIS WAS NOT INCLUDED IN INSTRUCTIONS, TOO DIFFICULT, THIS MONITOR SUCKS

OD, seems to be an american thing. And don't think there's an OM here either

There isn't an ikea for miles from where I live, sadly. Never heard of office depot either
-
True, but then I'll hear the actual price, and probably faint

Seeing as I don't drive, and well, not even able too. I'll see if I can find any stores going out of business near me, though I do doubt it. Usually it's just fast food restaurants closing down here, as for the bank, I don't really see our one giving out a chair
-
True, but as I've said, I've found some decent looking pc chairs on ebay, that fit in my budget, just wanted to see if anyone else knew some more that'd fit in the budget. Not exactly rich enough to splurge a few hundred quid on a seriously nice chair
-
So I've been slouching lately, and my old chair (which is a pile of crap anyway) has been starting to break I guess you could say, so I was looking for a good chair, that'd match these things. 1:Back support, so It could possibly keep me from slouching 2: Tall enough for my head to rest on it, though not mandatory 3: Highly cushioned seat, with most chair's I've had, the wood is always pressing on my ass, seriously annoying. My budget is about £60, though it may be possible to go over a bit. I'd probably be using eBay, as goddamn I've seen some good deals on there. While the budget will probably hinder how good of a chair I could get, I'd like to see if any of you know of one, thanks! Edit: Ended up buying this chair. http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00KY055GU?ref_=cm_cd_al_qh_dp_t
