Hello, I recently figured out how to change the minimum fan speed on my Gigabyte 970 G1, and figured I'd share how I did it with you all.
 
 
Do this at your own risk, I'm not responsible for any damages that occur.
 
DO NOT TURN YOUR PC OFF DURING THE FLASHING PROCESS UNLESS YOU WANT A $330-$700 PAPERWEIGHT.
 
REMEMBER TO DISABLE YOUR VIDEO CARD DISPLAY DRIVER AS I MENTIONED IN THE VIDEO BEFORE FLASHING THE ROM
 
 
 
I DON'T KNOW IF THIS WORKS ON OTHER CARDS OTHER THAN 9XX SERIES, YOU'LL HAVE TO FIND OUT YOURSELF

Definitively the 558s

for music the 558 would be better because you have an external mic

Faster Reads and Writes, it is overall a MUCH faster system experience, best upgrade for the normal user.

You're better off with the D5100, you have a large selection of lense although video isn't the best under low light the quality is pretty decent, in the long run the Nikon will benefit more and last longer.
