  1. RX 480 is using GDDR5 its not HBM2 on there website http://www.amd.com/en-us/products/graphics/radeon-rx-series/radeon-rx-480
  2. thanks imma send him this forum copy so that he will stop thinking.
  3. I learn this from my friend but my friend said he watch a leaks video on ncix tech tips on the latest AMD Driver update they include a card id code 560 570 and 580. but no 550 yeah i told him that not every rumors will be true until we see real reviews it will not be legit until then.
  4. oh yes i might be going future topic here but RX Vega is different Chip there are leaks that AMD will Refresh the 460 470 480 to the RX 500 with a slight boost. but still on a same chip and rumors say that they will release a RX550 but still not confirm even the RX 560,570,580 but the RX Vega is the confirm GPU will be using the Vega Chip.
  5. oh no i'm not future proof its just that for my i will stick on my 480 till it will die i think. cause my friend just build his 1st rig but he left out the gpu for now and i got my 480 almost 60days now and i really dont think i need more but when he saw a rumors that a refresh will be releasing im asking for the community to give a fact about this. i purhcase my card really cheap and it is the ASUS Strix 8GB OC for around $200 and this was really really a good deal but thinking that something might come out with a new one like skylake to kabylake for him its really unknown territory.
  6. oh sorry is it worth buying the new 580 over the old 480.
  7. So they MIGHT be on the same chip and just be more faster? I purchase my RX 480 cause i plan on moving to a 1440p over 1080p and i see that FreeSync will be cheaper in my Country. Yes i only Plan on playing CS:GO and some games on the side. Is it worth buying the new 580 over the 480?.
  8. yeah my 950 lasted for about 1 year and 6 months and i only purchase that card that time for $160, yeah i gonna hate my self if the RX 580 is going to be better if the price is right but for now imma make this card do its job i just need to purchase my 1440p FreeSync Technology. this one will cost $400 after that imma save up to change my MATX to and ITX Ryzen + RX Combo.
  9. i hope so cause i only purchase it for playing BF1 cause my EVGA GTX 950 FTW was killing it for me.
  10. Last month i finally purchase a ASUS RX 480 STRIX OC for a very good deal at Taiwan for Around $200 did i purchase to late or is the 480 a Good card for now for until i need it really? i only plan on playing 1080p but still did i decided quickly or not?...
  11. Dont mind my comment i have a Seasonic M12II 520W. Basically i did not spend a cheap psu.
  12. i had this issue i did a fresh install on my windows 10 and fresh new drivers. my bf1 ultra setting on a 950 was 40-60fps now i get 80-100 fps. if i adjust some settings i could get 140+fps so i could get my 144hz monitor.
  13. Asus RX 480 Strix OC just be mindful about your case like mine it barely made it inside.
  14. we got the same problem but I fix it just by fully reinstalling my Windows 10 and new Drivers form 0 and on my BF1 I can get 60FSP on ultra settings and lowest is 45 but really really playable. if you been GTX to AMD I think its better for fresh install. I don't know if its in your HDD or not but for me Its always best to install on a SSD for I am completely wrong.
  15. Can you please stop this stupidity i never said all H81 chipset i said the board he's using, you can be helpful or just useless by simple not disrupting the Topic. @deXxterlab97 and i just said that you should even upgrade the bios to w/ g3258 is supported.
