  1. Hello people, long story short I am stuck with a 6950XT and a temporary 550w PSU (Corsair CS550M). New PSU arrives in a week and a half... Stupid question in 3..2..1: Would it be possible to run the card with a really low powertarget without damaging anything while I am waiting?
  2. At first I thought "wow, easy so much space", yeah there might be enough space in the front - however cable management in the back was a pain. I already have a modular power supply and only used 3 out of 4 modular cables but still I had trouble closing the back. The HDD area is anoying: If you screw the HDD into the cage you actually need to apply a little bit of force when sliding it in since its ~1mm too wide with the screw. When I put in the SATA-Power connector into one of the HDD's there is at best ~1mm space between it and the back wall - so its all pretty tight fit but this is something I am used to (I've never worked with a case worth more than ~40€). Airflow seems to be way better than my Sharkoon VG5-V though. I kind of rushed the build today since the new season in league of legends began and I want to play but I will make it look pretty this weekend to make some photos. (There are still 1-2 cables in the front that I could hide better) If they ever release another version of this case I wish they would add a back wall like this to give a little bit more room for cables: (random google pic) EDIT: didn't read all posts before answering - Yes the radiator of my AORUS Liquid Cooler 240 fit perfectly. The radiator is kind of thin tho, so if anyone of you has thicker radiators it could be very tight.
  3. I want to thank everybody, I've actually found the SilentiumPC Signum SG1M in a store sold as B-Stock because it has 2 scratches on the bottom of the case - 20€! I will swap my case this weekend and might post some photos then.
  4. I dont like the look of it, I prefer the simple looks. But still thank you! So far the TT View 22 TG and Silentium SG1 TG are my favorites. Both come with tempered glass which sounds amazing at this price point.
  5. I have a MSI B350 PC Mate, I think it has a USB 3.1 and multiple USB 2.0 front connections.
  6. Ryzen 5 3600x @ 4.2 GHz all cores at 1.312V usually hovers between 64-67C while playing Borderlands on high settings. (I am currently cooling my CPU with the Corsair H80i) That one looks better than the cooler master, looks like a great case - thank you! I am from Germany, I dont mind getting something from ebay and wait a bit tho - I am not in a rush.
  7. 50-60€ would be nice, I just don't have the money for a 100€+ case at the moment. I've found a Cooler Master MasterBox E500L for 42€, but I would have to mount my radiator in the front. How bad would that be for my GPU with a blower style cooler?
  8. Hey guys, I just won an Aorus Liquid Cooler 240 and it doesnt really fit in my current case. So now I am looking for a cheap case to replace my old one. I don't need fancy glass panels and I do not care about RGB. It should be ATX and have space for my SSD and two HDDs. I guess it would be best if I could mount the radiator on top since i got a blower style 1070Ti and I don't like the idea of feeding it the hot hair of a front mounted radiator. I hope you guys can help me out, thanks in advance.
  9. Hey, does anybody know how to move the Windows 10 notifications over to my secondary monitor? I've been googling for a while now and all I found was an old bug/glitch/workaround from Windows 8 which got patched at some point. I don't really want to turn them off since they can be useful sometimes but I am also gaming in windowed mode so sometimes they overlap my game windows. Cheers.
  10. Might be a stupid question but have you used thermal paste?
  11. Just wanted to thank you again. Got a PNY 1070Ti Blower now. I have a cheap & toasty case so I thought blower style cooler would be better for now. Reached 21508 in default Firestrike 1.1 with max temps of 75°C, that should be in 1080 range right?
  12. Would be nice if you can report back, I switched from my AMD card to a GTX 1070Ti, cleaned my drivers with DDU and shutdown -> replaced my card. Now I get the same error on Windows 10 so I don't think its an OS issue.
  13. Yeah thats what I thought, but the performance gain of adding 80€ from the 1070 to the Ti is smaller than lets say from the 1060 to 1070 right? (Only seen a few benchmarks so I am not sure). Which makes me think the 1070 might be the sweet spot?
  14. Hey guys, So I'm currently running a Ryzen 5 2600X with an AMD R9 285 2GB that definitely need to get replaced. The GPU served me well since I'm not really the guy who need to play at max settings, so I lowered them over time in newer games. My current options are: RX 580 8GB ~250€ RX 590 8GB ~300€ GTX 1060 6GB ~260€ GTX 1070 8GB ~320€ GTX 1070Ti 8GB ~400€ I know they all run pretty good with high/ultra settings at 1080p but how about in a few years? Which one would be the best price/longevity ratio? I don't mind playing at low settings in ~3-5 years.
