  1. This issue is what is keeping me from shopping on lime day. With both high shipping cost + having to pay taxes over shipping costs as well it completely nullifies the potential sweet deal if I have to pay shipping each time. Example: If there is a deal with $15 off on day one and $15 off for a second item on day 2 but I have to pay $30 shipping on both deals. I basically are paying the exact same amount if I were to buy it at full price with one time shipping. This way LTT gets the deal instead of me.
  2. nevermind... you have to play 5 to unlock the rest.... patience.. I have non.
  3. Hey All, I just got my Nintendo Switch and I got 1-2 switch because it's a fun party game but in the box/online it says it has 28 mini games but when I play the game I'm only able to select 7?? I pressed all the possible buttons AFAIK but I can't seem to get the other games and I can't find any info online if you either you unlock the other by playing them all (I already played 4 and nothing happened) or if the rest comes with an update or some other magic button needs to be pressed. Who can help me out here? Thanks
  4. Interestingly they say indeed 3000mhz in the video with 4 dimms, but on their site: (http://www.corsair.com/ryzen) they only have 4 dimm kits up to 2400mhz and dual kits up to 3000mhz.
  5. The problem is the speed limit with 4 sticks vs 2 sticks of ram. Most motherboard manufactures only name kits of 4 dimms with lower speeds ~2400-2666mhz but not above and that is what the asus representative said that with 4 dimms the speed is limited.
  6. Yeah just like bill gates said that you never needed more than 640KB of ram because else it was poorly coded... trust me, for content creation (video editing, large photoshop files) you'll fill op 16GB in a minute. And because Ryzen 8c16th is really good at content creation because it is something that works well with many cores/threads it is important to support lots of ram. And as some had mentioned that ram can have an influence more than 5% it's nice to know that your dollars won't go down the drain and to know that you can gain speed with faster ram. Therefore support for faster ram is important maybe more in the future than today and you don't go out and spend hundreds of dollars just to replace it half a year later, especially in business situation. If what you say is true we should do as many say: "Wait just 24 little hours and see what the professional reviews will tell us!" It can either be no issue at all or means that AMD can file for bankruptcy but we can't say much based on feelings and emotions, I WANT NUMBERS! Don't write of AMD because of potential bad news and don't praise them as your lord Gabben without proof.
  7. Looking at the Memory QVL for the GA-AX370-GAMING5 the best combo for 4 stick memory is a kingston hyperX at 2666mhz with 4 DIMMs which is already better than max 2400mhz yet no where near 3200mhz. Though they didn't test any DIMMs higher as far as I can see anyway, not even with just 2 DIMMs so hard to say what it means for faster ram. I guess they need to test again/more ram with the new BIOS to officially say they support higher speeds. Looking good already And if da MEGAHERTZZ are limited, you could always try to crank down the latency which is half the battle right? Worst case scenario I'm stuck with Rainbow road mode all the time which is "IMO DOPE AF" as Linus would say, G.Skill only lists Z270 chipset based motherboard on their website but Linus said that G.Skill said that "Ryzen will be supported soon"™ I mean, you can't properly claim if it works if you can't test it because it isn't out right? (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=scQXZAJ7ohU)
  8. I heard the news and looked at the spec sheet of this Asrock motherboard: http://www.asrock.com/mb/AMD/Fatal1ty X370 Gaming K4/index.asp#Specification If you go down to the memory segment it says: That is a bad sign if the max they recommend are 4 slots on max 2400mhz and up to 2667 The MSI X370 carbon memory compatibility list (https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/support/X370-GAMING-PRO-CARBON.html#support-mem) contains RAM DIMMs with supported speeds up to 3200mhz with 2 DIMMs and only up to 2400mhz on 4 DIMMs but have a note that says: So it looks like 4 high speed DIMMs will be an issue not just with ASUS but more manufactures, if this can be fixed post launch, I'll be a happy person, if not, kinda crappy. I just bought half of my system and I'm waiting for Ryzen reviews to either go AMD or Intel but I already bought my G.Skill 2x8GB 3000mhz RGB ram (to get my system to the next RGB level). So I won't have a problem but upgrading might be an issue which I do see happening.... --------- As for the Faster ram is faster discussion. In many cases faster ram does not equal better performance but there are situations/use cases where it does matter. one instance comes to mind that back in the day of GTA 4, we figured out on a LAN party that it was better to have 4GB of 800mhz DDR2 than 8GB of 677mhz. Now this looked like a bottleneck in a sence of a minimum speed vs faster ram == more fps because with my 1066mhz ram I didn't see any improvements over the 800mhz. Forward to 2017 and DDR4 look at this article (http://techbuyersguru.com/gaming-ddr4-memory-2133-vs-26663200mhz-8gb-vs-16gb?page=1) which basically tells you that faster ram does not make a significant impact on FPS, going from 2133 to 3200mhz they saw a 1,5fps increase. for that you better spend your dollars on a better GPU/CPU or overclocking gear. For non gaming scenario's, I have no clue, someone with a bigger/greyer beard of wisdom may answer that
  9. Mobile setup is just my laptop keyboard and a Logitech MX705, If I can sit down I Use a Logitech M500 and a Logitech 450 Comfort Wave, I love them waves
  10. I'm currently gaming on my laptop with a 970m but I'm waiting for the new Polaris (or either pascal) card to be available/in stock before I start purchasing my entire PC, so If I win, there is no more waiting
  11. Even though it is "only" 1000 lumen which is quite good for a LED based projector it is a very portable box with smart TV built in. You could use it as a TV replacement in the bedroom for example, having a theater experience from the comfort of your bed
  12. I'm using a Logitech Wave Pro but it has become so dusty and dirty over the last 10 years that it's hard to type on it, some keys need to be pressed in really precisely in the middle or they'll wont go down. The wave is one of the most comfortable ways of typing and forcing you to type with 10 fingers. Too bad they don't make them anymore So an upgrade to a good gaming keyboard is not a bad idea
  13. I Like the ZBOX because of it's size/power ratio. So much gaming power in such a portable case or it can be placed in the living room as a steam box / media PC without it disrupting the aesthetics/view. (If you live in 9 square meters like me, every cm counts)
  14. My favorite would be their high precision Nascita Mouse, finally a good gaming mouse to get my hands on if I win
