  1. He means that you can download games off the eShop to a microSD card, similar to the 3DS. The Wii U only officially supported downloading games to an external drive, which is why it's worth noting for the Switch.
  2. I'd like getting the Kiro. Those modular sides look interesting for sure.
  3. This shouldn't bother you. He's definitely not trying to say that the MacBook is better than the Asus ultrabook. He's just showing that Final Cut Pro is optimized well enough that it is possible to edit 4K video on a small portable laptop, contrary to what Linus concluded in his video. Yes it's a different platform with a different OS and different editing software, but the point is that it's possible.
  4. You listed no video settings as a con for the consoles, but I actually prefer it that way. I don't want to spend forever tinkering in the settings, I just want to play the game. That's why GeForce Experience has been awesome. Consoles don't need settings changed because every game is "optimized" out of the box (developer's discretion, of course). Besides that, I'm actually impressed with how well you tamed your bias in this video. To me, it ultimately comes down to the games you want to play. My Xbox doesn't get Team Fortress 2 (as we know it today) or iRacing or moddable Skyrim, but my PC doesn't get Forza or Halo or Madden.
  5. The iPhone 4 still gets software updates, and it's almost 4 years old. No Android phone that old is still getting updates. Great video, though. I went from an iPhone 5 to an HTC One M8. Miss things like Siri, but love things like the speakers.
  6. For $200 I'd go with a GeForce GTX 660. Awesome GPU that'll be able to play all of your games at 60fps at 1680x1050. If you're looking for a specific card, MSI is always a solid option. Also, you'll get a free copy of AC4. A nice little added bonus.
  7. When I say "doesn't support", I mean it only has mic in, line in, and speaker jacks, not the black or orange jacks for surround.
  8. So I have zero experience with anything that isn't onboard audio, but my motherboard doesn't support 5.1 analog audio (Gigabyte GA-Z68A-D3H-B3). I'm therefore looking for a sound card that supports 5.1 audio, and want to keep it near the $100 range. One that also has inputs for a headset are a plus. I'm no audiophile. I listen to music from my iTunes and mostly play games. My speakers are the Logitech Z506 and my headset is the Turtle Beach X12. I see the Creative Sound Blaster Z and like what I'm seeing, especially for $90. I would appreciate any other suggestions or thoughts!
  9. Hey everyone, I'm looking for a new keyboard, and I stumbled upon the CM Storm QuickFire TK. I think this thing is awesome, especially because it's smaller than keyboards with the ten-keys on the right, but still has ten keys. I'm looking for other options though, just because this keyboard seems to be sold out at many different places. Are there any other keyboards with the ten-keys that also double as navigation keys?
  10. Even after using the XB1 controller and DualShock 4, I still prefer Xbox's controllers. But the DS4 is great because it improves what I thought was a terrible controller, the DS3. Sticks were bad, triggers were even worse, and it was small and uncomfortable to hold. The new controller pretty much fixes all of these, so props to Sony!
  11. Don't get your hopes up, man. People were hoping for the same thing with Titanfall, but neither will come to PS4.
  12. Well it looks great. That's what Crytek's always been about. You may agree or disagree that it's a bad game, but you can't deny that it looks beautiful. That was really the goal of the game, and I'd say that it was anything but a fail in that aspect.
  13. Haha I enjoyed this. Everyone here getting pissed about nothing is also great. Enjoy it!
  14. I'm getting a 3DS XL this week. Games I'll be looking out for are Mario Kart 7, Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon, Pokemon Y, Animal Crossing New Leaf, the next Super Smash Bros, and more. A game console is only as good as its games, and I think the 3DS's library blows the Vita's out of the water.
  15. I think the Razer Naga (the newest one) and the Logitech G600 are two of the most comfortable mice on the market, primarily because of the extension on the right for your other fingers to rest on. The only thing is that I don't play MMOs, and both of these mice are buttons-overload. Do you guys know of any mice with similar ergonomics, but maybe not as many buttons?
