Its been real bad for me i cant even drag windows onto my 2nd monitor without it lagging for around 5 seconds.

Hi guys so running my machine with windows 10. I just put in another NVME SSD. A Samsung Evo plus 2TB after my PC did the feature update to 21H2 (i was on 20H2 before that) However i noticed especially after only one sleep my machine has gone much slower than it was on the previous version i had. Now i did make an image backup before the feature update installed (although i believe it was downloaded so not sure what the interaction will be there) so if i need to revert i can. Now i do tend to have a lot of chrome tabs open so im sure a pagefile is also being used even though my memory isn't at 100% and according to the virtual memory page its automatically managing the page file size which i assume would also spread it around my HDD's/SSDs. I notice anytime i try to interact with anything, especially chrome, my HDDS start spinning up like mad even though its installed on the SSD, especially my 4TB which is admittedly starting to run out of room (350gb left of 4tb). But i am wondering if anyone had issues like this when they first jumped onto 21H2 and were there updates later that fixed it? I haven't done any other update checks yet since. Because before on 21H2 my HDDs werent going nearly as hard. SPECS ARE Ryzen 7 3700x 32GB DDR4 3600MHZ G.skill trident Z neo RTX 3070 ASUS TUF ASUS x570 prime pro motherboard RM750x PSU 2 WD HDDS 1x4tb 1x2tb 3 SSDS 1x1TB NVME OS drive, 1x SATA 1TB SSD, 1x2TB NVME SSD (new one)

Fair, i just find it weird that if i move it back the other way icons are in the normal spot. Not like im changing the resolutions of the monitors themselves, just the placement but i guess windows is a bit antsy on that

So this is somewhat i've a weird issue that i'm encountering. I'm currently running a 1440p and 1080p monitor and when both are set so that my main monitor is on the right and when i want to scroll to my 2nd one i move my mouse to the left. However if i switch the position of the monitors around (1440p still being the primary) The icons for some reason get split between the monitors. Any idea why?

So this is something i've only just noticed but when i plug in my phone or any USBS windows usually makes that something has plugged in sound. But with my series X controller it doesn't seem to do that. I would have thought windows would do it across all USB devices plugged in?

Already tried its not quire where i want it which is kind of why i wanted to know if there was a way to transform the value for 1440p without trying to do it by eye. even if its just like x times the number as an example could just use a calculator and do it that way.

Damn that sucks. Gonna be hard trying to get it done just by eye lol. Guess its just gonna be whatever looks good i guess.

Ok so i got my first 27inch 1440p monitor today and im using my 24in 1080p monitor as a secondary which i had to already sort out desktop icon issues but i was wondering if its possible to translate 1080p window sizes to 1440p. So for example a window has a size of 1257x686 (thank you winspy) on my 1080p and it looks smaller on my 1440p one but would there be an easy way to get "the same size" look on a 1440p monitor somehow?

So i woke up today to find outlook on chrome mobile has a bit of a different look. Test looks bigger, search bar seems to have suggested contacts and quite frankly the most ANNOYING thing is that i know have big blue dots next to my unread emails which i seriously do not like. However i also don't have access to any images of how it used to look. Does anyone have any screenshots that might?

So I'm not to sure if its the latest Nvidia drivers or if my 10+ year monitor is finally calling it quits but whenever i bootup my PC or wake it up from sleep after a good while or so my 2nd monitor a phillips LED 244EL repeatedly does its boot cycle which shows up the brand then goes to a black screen then repeats. I've noticed at least if i leave my PC on and it goes to screen saver and i wake it up, it also suddenly works from there. Otherwise i have to unplug and replug the monitor. Anyone else had this issue yet? I've tried different HDMI cables and the issue persists so it isnt a cable issue at least. EDIT: forgot to add Nvidia driver is 511.23

Nah this is honestly my first foray into looking at different than standard fonts. And realistically i'm only looking at maybe an immediate 12-20 videos. Its mostly going to be use for the intro and it might suit other games for an intro too. But i might take a look at that too. Could learn some photoshop skills Thank you very much

Hi guys So I'm looking at obtaining a font to put in some videos but when i finally found it was confused by the licensing options that are available and which one would be applicable to me. The font in question is Handel Gothic. From some websites i was in contact with they say a desktop license should be enough as im only uploading videos but i just wanted to confirm.

So just got a Faulty Hardware Corrupted page BSOD today. Have provided the files required as well as 2 minidumps but cannot provide the perf monitor as it seems to not stop after 60 seconds. Drivers are not completely up to date but they aren't years old either least that i can remember. So im having trouble trying to pick a new monitor. Want to upgrade to 1440P from a 1080P one which will become my new snd monito (currently using a XB241H acer predator) but i dont know which one to pick. What im looking for is high refresh rate 27' IPS monitor. I play not quite competitively but semi competitively in games and then some games where its just single player (like dark souls). Kind of want the monitor to be a set and forget kind of thing not mess around with overdrive settings depending on the game i play (if because a game forces you to play at 60hz like the afromentioned dark souls), if i can help it and maybe decent colour accuracy out of the box if possible. Dunno if there are stores around Australia that will let you borrow one. Don't really have a budget but id say something like 800 AUD is the max I'd pay. Some suggestions given to me were the Dell 2721DGF and Alienware AW2721D as well as a couple of LG monitors although those seem to have bad ergonomics. Suggestions would be welcome!

So i saw Jay look at one of those motherboards and thought it was pretty cool seeing thunderbolt on it. I saw that you have to put a DP cable in the DP in slot to power it but why is that instead of something like another port on the motherboard? I also assume you can still have the monitor plugged into another DP slot on the GPU as well?

Has anyone heard of any more of the odyssey flat monitors coming out? Specifically the G50A the 1440P 27 inch monitor? Because all im hearing about is the G70A the one that Linus showed in short circuit but absolutely nothing on the G50A. Reason being is I'm looking at purchasing my first IPS monitor as well as my first 1440P one (currently rocking a xb241h Acer predator and a standard Phillips 244EL monitor)

So off topic i love this keyboard had it for a decade now I only ever used the macro keys once when i was fiddling around with it on windows 7. Now i'm not exactly sure how I would get those working on windows 10 since windows sort of changed the program i guess? Dunno where to go to start. Can anyone help?

I think im just an idiot. Yeah so my phone on youtube at least in chrome defaults to 360P, the reason i think it was draining faster is because i went and changed it to 720p and of course that would require a bit more juice... So yeah think i found where that extra power was going lol. And i guess reloading tabs with a white background when the screen changes colours would also help drain a bit quicker...

I'd say pretty hard to find a Moto g5 battery anymore at this point. How long is a 2800mhz usually last? I mean it gets me through the day fine at least minor browsing and watching videos for a couple of hours before getting down to 20% and I imagine changing websites a lot would drain the battery faster due to more processing power. Funny you mentioned scammed the first battery I got from the same guy died at around 20% each time. This replacement he gave me was much better so I don't think it's the case of scamming but you never know. I have been using this battery for a few months already so is it too late to calibrate it?
