Are cheap x99 motherboards decent?

What holds value longer? The Extreme editions or the regular k editions?

Looks like I may have to cheap out on the motjerboard but then again they are x99. So the quality shouldn't be that bad.

Although just curious, what do you reckon the price for AMD ryzen will be ?

If there's no diff in gaming AND I have the ability to utilize 6 cores. I see why not. AMD Ryzen is too far away... 2 day without a PC is already killing me. Price won't that significant of a change for me at least.

Alright I will go with an i7 6700k. I'm not that serious but am serious. Looks like I won't get an x99 motherboard which seems cool.

I would have to say gaming, although I also heard the i7 5820k was good?

Hi, so I'm currwntly debating against i7 6700k and i7 6800k. I usually will do mostly gaming (CS:GO, minesweeper, etc). However, I also work with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere, Maya Autodesk, etc. every now and then. Usually I procrastinate on those projects so you can see why I'm considering faster CPUs. I forgot to mention, but I also like to OC. I plan on using this PC for probably 3-4 years, will push it to the limit.

I tried reformatting and everything. but I can't change it to E,F,G, or H.
