You need to give your video an id tag , then in css link to your id tag , then set the background to the path of the video and appropriately set your widths, heights , size and postions. This is the way i would do it , although you can just set the postion. Edit : Also you have no doctype, so that will not help as well

i think i had a very simlar problem to you , i booted off using the igpu , unistalled the drivers , swithced back to gpu and i was away
