  1. If you are traveling a lot then m50x because the detachable cable is very nice to have. The 770s have a 10 foot cord and non-detachable without modding them so it really annoying to have that. If you do get the m50s I highly recommend the HM5 pads from Brainwavz as they are really good and comfortable. Just not the velour as it destroys the bass.
  2. @TyriusThen I'd suggest the 990s. They will much more comfort, better sound and sound stage.
  3. Unless the headphones don't get loud enough no need for an amp I'd say.
  4. Well the 990s are going to be the obvious choice but it depends on a few more factors. What kinda music do you enjoy? Are you ok with open back? Ever using these in public? But I'd personally go for the dt 990 if money is not a problem.
  5. @Daniel644 Well he did make it seem like you need an AMP above 50 ohms. Even then I don't recommend one unless above 100 ohms or extremely inefficient like the Talos t50 mod.
  6. You are right, meant to put dt 770 before 250 ohms.
  7. Zalman mic, use it myself and enjoy it.
  8. I'd go for Superlux 681 EVO. No mic included so a Zalman mic. No surround sound though.
  9. DT 770, better all the way around.
  10. He did mention it but didn't touch on the subject a whole lot.
  11. I know the MEE m6 Pro are neutral and 50 and are pretty good. But you're looking for whats called a V signature style of headphones. Recessed mids so guitar and vocals. But the M6s aren't V shaped.
  12. I'd go for 80 ohms unless you want to buy a dac/amp. I believe the Fiio E10k powers 250 ohm (could be wrong) and I know a Schiit stack (Modi and Magni) are a perfect pair with it. But what music do you listen to? Using these outdoors?
  13. As of now the SHP 9500 on Newegg is 64 and a Vmoda boom mic works with it, a bit much but highly worth it and great headphones.
  14. As of now the Snowball Ice from Blue is 39.99 and better then the modmic IMO if you have the space for it.
  15. Budget? Music? I know the MEE m6 pros are nice and neutral. Heard good things about the Shure SE215.
