  1. It's way easier for your muscles to train motoric-skills, accuracy and memory with long moving distances. It's important your brain and muscles know how far to move your hand to achieve the desired travel distance on screen. Flick shots indeed are getting harder that's why not all "pros" do play with a super low sensivity.
  2. Even though you did a clear CMOS try unplugging your power cord and remove the Mainboard battery for 10min. This is the last thing which brings your in a factory reset state. If this doesn't work a reassembly of RAM, GPU and CPU would be my next steps. Sometimes safety circuits kick in if there is a shortage and often they just need a powerless time to get back into their original state. (I'm no electrician but I guess that's what could happen)
  3. Well if you want to upgrade because of you hobby in VFX, get a Ryzen 5. It's not the fastest for gaming but the price/performance value is excellent for rendering. Keep in mind a state of the art CPU would give you a maximum 10% more in gaming performance (in combination with your 1050Ti). If this is your main intention, don't do it. Save up the money for a high end PC from scratch (PSU and SSD is maybe usable).
  4. Ok, you didn't make clear what you need that rig for. If you are rendering and stuff like that a powerful CPU would make sense. Also you should call out a maximum pricing. The system as is, is (imho) perfect. Upgrading CPU, MB, RAM and SSD should benefit for editing/rendering purposes but in gaming your GPU will limit a CPU like an i7 8th-Gen.
  5. Pairing a 8600/8700K with a 1050Ti doesn't seem to be a good idea in my opinion. As the demands and money capabilities of OP don't seem be that high, this would be a waste of money. Maybe a i3 of the 8-Series. But in my opinion the system is good as is. No bottlenecking and enough power for his current 1080p requirements.
  6. Everbody talks about the DPI, sure most of us don't need it that high but the speed and acceleration are also bumped up and that's nice for gamers as it increases accuracy. Maybe they didn't implement the full potential because they had a plan to release a mouse with "the full potential". To avoid inhouse competition they trimmed down the firmware of the G203.
  7. No! The RIG is fine. If you are able to play all your games with the 1050Ti you will not benefit from a new CPU. Save the money and buy a complete new rig one day with mid/high end components which are all state of the art. I recently combined a i5 3470 with a 1050Ti and the comibination is pretty much perfect.
  8. Depends on your SD Card and the build-in reader of your laptop but I think loading games from an SD Card will be a pain in the ass. Aren't you able to use the build in disk (HDD/SSD) for video games? I could borrow you a SanDisk USB stick which is quite speedy and you could also use my 400 Mbit/s connection for downloads. I'm living in Köln Mülheim (for navigation purposes)
  9. Linus, how the hell did you manage to boot Windows 10 on a Q6600? I own a E5450 and the annoying "Windows 10 Update Notification" is saying me that my CPU is insufficient. The reasons are missing commands the CPU doesn't support. I quickly googled if the same issue is persistent for the Q6600 and it obviously is. Sure, your build didn't get through the install routine with the Q6600 but it clearly works without error warnings or whatsoever and boots *EDIT* I did bad research. The Q6600 is support but not my beloved E5450 :'(
