it does allow us to download/install stuff and i think ill stay on the safe side of that and not do that just in case and i want to avoid telling the school about it because it'll mean they will just re-image it and probably not fix anything. i am thinking it may be a loose or broken cable as it is only that side of things but the network port still works so im not sure

i have checked that previously but i did check again but it still shows nothing but thank you

okay so the other day i turned off my laptop (its a school laptop) and when i turned it on in my next class it said that it didn't detect any speakers and it didn't notice the usb port on the side of the laptop that has the jacks for headphones and mics and both of those don't work either i was wondering if there is some way too fix this problem without having too 1 open the laptop and and fix myself and 2 without having to take it to the I.T. people at school because they will more than likely make it worse.

personally i am only getting the xbox one because of the exclusives otherwise i would stick to my pc or buy a ps4.

my main reason is because i had my xbox before i built my pc and so i have some games on there that are either xbox exclusive or just games that are fun but too much to pay for again. i also go on to persuade my friends that i have made to build their own pcs so we can all play together on that 5/11 down

well where do i start my pc which is a very recent build (built christmas of last year) has had a hairpin crack in the mother board where the cpu regulates its power so that i had to get fixed. it will coil whine every now and again but I put up with it because it never lasts long. 3 months ago there was an explosion that came from my computer but it still ran perfectly fine (i have not yet overclocked anything) and then about 1 month ago it blew up while using it to network bridge to my xbox360 (only use it because i have games on there that i dont have on my pc) after this explosion it has now been out of action until hopefully the end of this week where i will either have to pay 70$, 250$ or with good luck about 0$. there is no apparent reason why it blew up but eh the things i put up with for better communication and graphics ect. :wacko:

well my school every student has a laptop and they have I.T. services but they suck because say you get a virus they will completely wipe your laptop so because i'm the more tech savvy person in most of my classes people normally come to me to fix smaller things. sometimes when they have tried to fix peoples laptops they actually break it further and blame the student even if they had nothing to do with it.

i agree with you its just the fact that msy is much closer and i didnt know msy had such bad customer service otherwise i would have only got my case from them and the rest from pccg
