  1. My current mouse is the old Corsair M60, which i've loved for years, keyboard is a Das Keyboard Ultimate 4.
  2. no one really knows why the ASUS looks better?
  3. Recently I purchased a MSI GS60 due to my needs of a lightweight form factor with a reasonably powerful graphics card. This laptop shines for portable gaming, its one of the lightest laptops ive ever had the pleasure to use, with a sleek black uniform chassis and 'hold up with one finger' weight. no complaints there. my only complaint was the screen. when looking for a suitable replacement for my ASUS G75VW of 5 years I was more interested in a machine that had what my desktop replacement lacked; primarily portability. I didn't really consider the screen much at all, which has been my most recent mistake. It may just be me, but the difference between the G75VW and the GS60 is disturbing. The GS60 is brighter but the colors on the G75 seem 100% more natural and fluent. It really is noticeable in futuristic games and fps where the colors on the GS60 seem either washed or overcontrasted. Anybody know of the type of screen the G75VW is running with, or a laptop that has a similiar screen?

  5. this is perfect, u know have my adoration and foreverlasting affection
  6. I don't know if this is a problem for most people, but the majority of time that I want to check the temperatures of my gpu, cpu etc is when im playing a game. Alt-tabbing out to look at GPUz is kind of immersion-breaking, so does anyone know of an android app that take the temperatures of the sensors in my pc, and display them on my phone?
  7. Couldn't find a category to put this in, so if it belongs somewhere else just drop it in. In my boarding school over the past few weeks there has been some serious thefts in dorms, where a person, who seems to have a dorm master key, would simply open doors and take whatever of value is around. As modification of dorm doors and locks is prohibited, and as i have no experience with Security cameras, i'd thought id ask here. Anyone know of a security camera, hidden or ceiling mounted if possible, that could both record to an external harddrive and be checked on throughout the day by phone or laptop? Campus wifi is free and fast, so anything a little hindering would be fine. A motion sensor would also be a nice feature, but i have a few gig heavy harddrive lying around I could use, so storage space isn't really an issue. Thanks for all your help
  8. thanks your your help creatip, but i discovered a winamp plugin that solved all my problems
  9. where would this fill speakers button be? here is my sound application
  10. games work fine with surrond sound, im just looking for music upmixing
  11. I recently acquired 5.1 Creative speakers (for 30 bucks off ebay), and after unpacking and plugging it into my desktop, i realized that music and some movies only play sound out of the two front facing speakers and the subwoof. I did a little research and that the software that forces digital surround sound is called upmixing, and I tried a couple programs to no avail. I was wondering if you guys have any experience with this kind of stuff, and any programs that i might be able to use. Sound Card: ASUS Maximus VI Formula
