I was wondering if we could think together and find the best devices, apps or anything that use a Type C connection. Or if there is a list already started somewhere links to that would be awesome.

Any ideas based off other i9 releases dates, When will the 8900 intel core be released?

i7 8700k Upgrading to i7 8700K Coffee Lake
CjMH888 replied to CjMH888's topic in New Builds and Planning
Okay so this is what I am looking at right now https://pcpartpicker.com/list/nM2DtJ I would love to hear what you guys think my budget is $1000 USD to $1500 USD so I hit right in the middle of that, Shipping I know will add a bit more the said price but that's fine. PCPartPicker also did have the same Power supply that is truly in my system but its still on Newegg so that is the link to it below https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?item=N82E16817182133 The components on the list that I am buying are include CPU ($389.99) 389.99 Motherboard ($259.99) 649.98 RAM ($449.99) 1,099.97 M.2 ($289.99) 1,389.96=Total Before Shipping And being I cant even buy a i7 8700K Right this second anywhere online I am sure Prices will change before Anyone can stock it. Everything else is installed and working so you can ignore the incompatibilities Warning about the S36 because it fits just fine in the system- 8 replies

With the Motherboard side of things solved I could still use some help with DDR3 to DDR4 change over with the higher speeds and all, Right now I have 32gb of DDR3 should I shoot for the same 32GB in DDR4 or with the speed of RAM now would 16Gb be alright for Streaming, Gaming, and Graphic design rendering? Sadly I am on a budget- 8 replies

So right now I have a AMD FX-8350 with Sabertooth 990fx r2.0 connected to 2 840 Pro SSD in Raid 0 as my C drive, along with a 850 Pro as me D drive and a 1TB Hard drive for mass Storage packed in a Cooler Master Master Case Maker 5 (previously just a Master Case Pro 5) with a GIGABYTE GeForce 980Ti G1 Gaming OC Edition. got a Fractal Design Celsius S36 360mm Cooling that cold dead CPU. So I say I need some HOT coffee to really use that S36 cooler I just got. I have been looking at motherboard with the 1151 socket and I have see the Asus ROG MAXIMUS X HERO motherboard but being the Raid lover I am I noticed this board doesn't support Raid but the Asus ROG MAXIMUS IX did. The choice on Motherboard is very limited right now but I want something powerful and worthy of this next gen upgrade for me. I have already looked at other builds on PCPartPicker and a few other forms but non where to helpful. is it possible they will add Raid control in a update or I am going to have to wait for more Boards to come to the market?
