  1. Sorry for the late reply, I partitioned my main drive and have 7 on one half and 10 on the other. My question now is, is there anyway they can both read the same program files? Without having to open one from another?
  2. Alright, I saw your first post. So if I already have two hard drives, could install it to second one without getting rid of all my stuff on it?
  3. Alright thanks! Where would I get the product key, would it just tell it to me after I download it?
  4. Could I download it as an installation file on a Flashdrive now and then use it later on to upgrade?
  5. I have Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit but with only 5 days left, would getting Windows 10 Pro be worth it? I am a very heavy power user and am happy with all the mods and what not I have done to 7. Also if anybody knows, when is Microsoft going to stop updating Windows 7? I also do quite a bit of gaming (usually racing,) Photoshop, Video Editing, etc... The newest games I have are Drift Streets Japan, and BeamNG. Would there be any compatibility issues or anything? I don't know what else to say about the topic, but other than that Thanks in advance for replying if I don't get back to you soon.
  6. Alright there isn't really a more specific topic for this, so General Discussion will have to do. Anyway, I am looking to go to college soon. What is the best college for it? More in depth I want to go for hardware design, probably in the GPU department. Details: GPA isn't an issue, location doesn't really matter but if anything closer to the South West border of the United States would be best. Also money wise, the cheaper the better. If I don't get back sooner than later, Thanks in Advance.
  7. Why not? Plus my GPU, surprisingly can handle it. Also then why is pixel overclocking a thing, if it does nothing?
  8. Basically, but its not just the 'resolution' it actually does increase the frame rate. Plus I have one of the worst cards you can still possibly buy from Nvidia so, at this point I don't think it really matters. My computer is around 9 years old. It gets the job done though. It maxes out every game "I" play, and usually is pretty fast (for what it is) with starts up times at around 20-30 seconds. Plus it does 3D Modeling/Rendering and stuff. Not saying it does it super quickly or really slow but it still does it.
  9. Maybe... But it at least looks a whole lot sharper and has better detail.
  10. You obviously can't do that. Again, I don't think its a physical change, its more of a theoretical change.
  11. I know what your saying. I don't think its a physical change, its more of a theoretical change. Its kind of like the Nvidia thing were it takes 4k and scales it to 1080 (I think... I could be totally wrong.)
  12. I am not talking frames, I am talking about the monitor 'processor.'
  13. To be honest. I really don't know how to explain it. Its basically just normal overclocking but for a monitor. So the higher the clock the better it gets. Higher clock = Higher Resolution/FPS.
  14. I just did my first 'monitor' overclock yesterday. Now today I wanted to do more so I took an old viewsonic and plugged it in my pc and went wild. It started off with like a 102 Mz clock and I took it up to 142 Mz. I practically made a whole new monitor upgrade. Rounding off I took it from 720 to about 1080 and from 60 Hz to 80 Hz. Also I did it through a VGA cable I kind of custom made with a trash one (it had garbage pins) and some paper clips. Anybody have anything better? I am just curious because this really interests me.
