Hi all,
Ive been trying to play Battlefield 4 recently. However its been crashing as soon as the game loads into a server. The thing is, it was working fine 3-4 days ago, then 2 days ago this happens.
Before I can even move my mouse, the computer itself turns off.
The things I've tried are:
- Re-install DirectX
- Update Graphics drivers
(Haven't 'repaired game' through Origins as my internet speed is so slow, it takes 17hrs to install)
Then today, I got an error that said:
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
|
DirectX function "screen ->swapChain->ResizeBuffers( |
renderer->m_settings-.getTripleBufferingEnable()? 3 : 2, |
screen -> info.windowWidth, screnn-> info.windowHeight, |
DXGI_FORMAT_R8G8B8A8_UNORM |
DXGI_SWAP_CHAIN_FLAG_ALLOW_MODE_SWITCH)" failed with |
DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED ("The video card has been physically | ....I have checked the card in the pc, it is in fully and screwed in
removed from the system, or a driver crash or upgrade has occured."). |
GPU: "NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 ", Driver: 36451. This error is usually |
caused by the graphics card crashing, try installing the latest drivers. | ....I have installed the latest drivers
Also, make sure you have a supported graphics card with at least |
512MB |
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Would anyone be able to help me with this?
Thanks,
Luke
