Say what you like but at least people here don't try to claim that Linux actually runs Windows deep in the core like some places I could mention...

@DeadEyePsycho there's dumber, ever browsed r/talesfromtechsupport?
-
@YedZed lol yeah, love when that happens, what I learned from experience ;
- 1st rule of tech support : users lie
- 2nd rule : users lie
- 3rd rule : after a while you'll lose faith in humanity
- 4th rule : you NEVER, EVER heard everything, there's a user out there that'll outdo the previous dumb one.
casese and point ;

@wkdpaul I think a lot of people just troll these call centres now to see if they can generate a funny story like this. Surely no one is that stupid... I mean, that's not even a case of not understanding technology, that's just not understanding the world in general. Even a child knows you can't print a moving video, that's why (coincidentally) they made them move in harry potter, since that's instantly recognizable as something magical because it can't be done in real life.
-
As soon as you say nobody is that stupid, you'll find someone more dumb.
-
Or if it's not fake customers trolling, it's fake stories altogether to try to get rep on that redit.
I mean, when you think about it, it's a little fishy... how exactly did they manage to get the video file to print anyway? Even if it did only print one frame, that's not trivial... no one that stupid could possibly have figured that out lol
