I did tech support. I had one guy I wrestled with for 45 minutes to try and get him to find an extension where it always is in chrome... When I finally remoted in, it "magically appeared".

@wkdpaul I think a lot of people just troll these call centres now to see if they can generate a funny story like this.  Surely no one is that stupid... I mean, that's not even a case of not understanding technology, that's just not understanding the world in general.  Even a child knows you can't print a moving video, that's why (coincidentally) they made them move in harry potter, since that's instantly recognizable as something magical because it can't be done in real life.

As soon as you say nobody is that stupid, you'll find someone more dumb. 

I had one dude that tried ot tell me he didn't need two factor cuz he uses linux exclusively and linux has no viruses. My supervisor and I had a good laugh. The dude posted stats from his multiple linux servers. I had no idea what to tell him, except "we don't care, get two fac"

Or if it's not fake customers trolling, it's fake stories altogether to try to get rep on that redit.

I mean, when you think about it, it's a little fishy... how exactly did they manage to get the video file to print anyway?  Even if it did only print one frame, that's not trivial... no one that stupid could possibly have figured that out lol
