  1. Hey guys, I am looking to buy and build a system soon, but the prices for a GTX 1070 are way too high right now.. any predictions about when/if they'll go down?
  2. Would you recommend adding an aftermarket cooler on the Ryzen 1600 like the Hyper 212 EVO?
  3. Hey guys, I've been a console gamer my whole life and I've wanted to switch for awhile now. I finally have saved enough money where I'm comfortable to purchase this system and games. I am new to the community, however i do have some knowledge when it comes to the tech side. Here is my build: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/Z3Tw2R If you have any advice, recommendations, or complete builds that fall in a $1500 range, please respond and help! Thank you all for your help! EDIT: I am looking for this to be a gaming build more than anything else.. I love rainbow six siege, csgo, simulator games, and MMOs.. This may be a bit overkill right now but I don't want to have to upgrade it for awhile.
  4. I would recommend getting an SSD if you can stretch the budget enough. An SSD is great.
  5. Hello, I am very much a beginner at servers. I currently have a Raspberry Pi 2 Model B, but I am looking at a serious option for a web server and storage for it (maybe rack-mount). I am familiar with Desbian Linux. How would I go about buying a server with storage that'll get the job done. Also, what should I program with? HTML, CSS, PHP?
  6. I have been seeing that a GTX 970 could run an Oculus Rift though, the system just needs to be $1000. Not including the headset.
  7. I am looking for a mini-itx computer build that will be Virtual-Reality ready for under $900 (I have a $1000 budget but Windows 10 is $100). I do like the Phanteks Enthoo Evolv Mini-ITX case. Thanks.
  8. Thanks, I think that building the computer with my choice of a case, which I do love the Phanteks one, would be more beneficial.
  9. I really enjoy simulators and racing games. I would like to get a dedicated simulator environment at my desk (with one monitor). I would like to buy a Logitech g920 steering wheel for a PC and my xbox one. I am thinking about buying the iBUYPOWER Revolt 2 with a i5 6600k and GTX 950. The games I play are Forza 6, American Truck Simulator, European Truck Simulator 2, Farming Simulator 15, Microsoft Flight Sim, etc. Would the specs of the computer be able to play these games at 1080p and at least 60FPS? Do I need a GTX 960? Thanks. Here is a link to the computer: http://www.ibuypower.com/Product/Revolt2
  10. I would like this to be able to stream various games from my computer like CS:GO, Kerbal Space Program, and Cities:Skylines.
  11. Hello, I have a Macbook Pro and would like to start programming in Xcode. What is the difference between Objective-C and Swift and which one should I learn? I also have a question on how to program and release websites with a language (maybe html??), what program should I use. Please have mercy, I have dipped into coding once and loved it. I am quite a noob.
  12. Hello, I am looking for a monitor with 1-2 HDMI ports for my Macbook Pro and Xbox. I am simply looking for a 1080p 60Hz IPS panel with a refresh rate of about 1-3ms. I would also like the monitor(s) to have good reviews. Budget is about $150. Thanks in advance.
