    I lost the game.

My dad started calling every tablet an iPad, kind of annoyed me when I have a Xoom and he would say "your iPad."  I'm sure others have had similar experiences with people who call any PMP an iPod.

    Min. Requirements:
    OS: 64-bit Windows 7, 8, 8.1
CPU: AMD Athlon X2 2.8GHz or Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4GHz
    Memory: 4GB RAM
GPU: 512MB VRAM, Radeon HD 4770 or GeForce 8800GT

And I'd believe that.  I ran it just fine at 1280x1024 during the beta on an C2D E8400 @3.6GHz, 4GB DDR2 800, and a 1GB GTX 460SE.  I didn't muck with the settings beyond resolution, and didn't check for average FPS or anything.  Just at default the graphics settings didn't look like anything mindblowing, in fact at default it was fairly meh....but I didn't care, the gameplay was fun.

Edit: Read somewhere that the reason for all the uncompressed audio was to help it run on lower powered machines.

I was in no way implying that asians are all porn stars(or something of the like), but I did peek at the link location even though I was already pretty sure what it would be.  And it may technically be sexist what I said, but I'm also male, and have yet to work on a woman's(which she and she alone uses) PC and see random porn websites.  You'd also have a hard time claiming that porn isn't predominantly used by and aimed at men.

When you are fixing your uncle's PC and see a website shortcut labeled "Asians" in the start menu.  I facepalmed in my head.  Not a fan of working on male relatives' PC's.  Usually it's just randomly seeing something in the history when typing a website out or search if they actually use chrome or firefox.

When I got chromecast we moved a 32" samsung lcd into my room to replace the CRT(not HD) I had, don't consider it mine...we just rarely used that tv anymore so it made more sense.  Does bug me that it's one of those 32" TV's that's not actually 32" or at least you can fairly easily tell that corners of the screen extend past the bezel, like logo's in the corner are cut off.

Truly a sad day.  I was even thinking about getting another Surface 1030(L) since mine is nearly a decade old.  I would have had respect for them if they just took ownership(bankrolled them maybe?), and maybe worked with them for a special line of products, but no...demolish what was Func, and make it into something completely else(Edit:or rather rebrand everything as your own/edit).  And like you said, double-dip with an indiegogo campaign...because they couldn't just leave Func alone and make their own company.

Now listen here, sonny, back in my day Indiegogos and kickstarters were for people with ideas, a way to finance a project that otherwise would not be made. They were not for existing companies with product lines to abuse as pre-order sales without having a product for review.

    I find this distasteful.

Man.  I always wanted an MS3-2 with an optical sensor, and now their entire website is Fnatic merchandising, and branding.  Lame.

Rebrands the MS-2, removes one of the DPI buttons for a singular DPI cycle button, slight back shape change, bumps price up by $4. Rebrands the KB-460. Does nothing else. Don't mention which Cherry MX keys it has, or if both the brown and blue version survives. Since they're idiots gentlemen of critiqueworthy decisionmaking skills, I assume the blue version is going to be the only one left. "Boost" gamepad (Func Surface 1030 L just rebranded) price bumped by $4. Func MS-3², the best mouse in the world for people with long fingers and the only one said people can palm other than a few Logitech mice, is nowhere to be seen. And they already made the acquisition yet double-dip indiegogo.
I hope they collectively contract syfilis.

I was in best buy the other day with my aunt helping her look at PC's, I could build her one...but I don't know that she even knows that.  Anyways, while we were looking around at regular desktops I heard a lady say to some employee "I want a PC without the tower."  At first I was rather confused, then laughed a little inside thinking "she wants a PC without the computer."  Of course what she meant was she wanted an All-in-One, it just confused me at first until I realized that...thought it was kind of funny.

I just remembered this, but my younger cousin was talking about how much he loved linux because it's free...along with saying he got "CoD for free."  His parents are rather frugal and I guess since they got a new family PC they let their son have the old one(so it likely wasn't that high end of a PC), and he took it to best buy since they have some geek squad membership.  This apparently was where he found out about linux as he asked them if they could do anything to speed it up, and I guess one of their guys was into linux and even though they aren't supposed to he told him he could put ubuntu on it.

Though I didn't say anything on it, I did wonder how he claimed to get a Call of Duty game free, as Activision is still as greedy as ever with that series.  Didn't say anything about it as I didn't care to get into any argument or anything of the sort.  I did however wonder how he went about getting it free, or if he actually mistook another game for being Call of Duty.  In the end he seemed to be under the impression that because linux and many programs in the ubuntu library(marketplace or whatever they call it...haven't touched ubuntu or any linux in quite some time) are free, it automatically made Call of Duty free for him.

This reminds me of a time in I think it was my hardware class back in high school.  A friend of mine "accidentally" dropped his pencil in front of our table.  He went to pick it up and while walking by, in a surprisingly sly manner, unplugged the guy next to him's monitor power I think it was.  He walked back and sat down at which time this guy yelling at a kid in front of him(we all knew each other) claiming he unplugged his monitor, and telling him he better plug it back in.  To be fair I believe this had been done by the kid at least once before in that class.

Edit: He(guy next to us) would also often blatantly screen cheat on tests.

One time when I wouldn't stop playing Rick Astley Never gonna give you up he got up to unplug my PC(wasn't playing it non-stop or anything).  For some unknown reason he really hated that song.  One day our teacher decided to play that and put it on the projector, the guy got up seeming like he was about to do something to the teacher's PC, but I think he realized that would be a bad idea.

I saw one that was quite literally an ash tray(on the interwebs)...and it looked like it was being used.  I'd have a tough time finding it again, were a bunch of really nasty setups, including one that looked like it was in some crawl space under a house or building of some sort.

Does she have any clue about E-waste and the fact that it's also bad for the environment?...Or the fact that some places will recycle old electronics?  Maybe you should tell her to look it up.  Heck a while back they had a some free electronics recycling thing going on at an indoor stadium parking lot(often used for music concerts and plenty of other things), you just drove up opened your trunk and they had volunteers to take the stuff and pack it up to go get recycled.  Don't know if it will happen again though.

Had to call my ISP today as our net was out this morning.  Got some guy asking the colors of the cables........ It doesn't matter if it's bloody red, blue, black, or yellow an ethernet cable is an ethernet cable, only real difference would be cat6 or cat5, and even that doesn't matter as much in home environments.  He was also trying to tell me to unplug each one of them to deal with static....static!  Loose connection maybe, but man.  I just hung up, made sure it wasn't our router(which rarely but sometimes needs to be reset), hooked our (cable)modem straight to the PC, got nothing.  Finally decided to call again and their automated voice recognition thing went through reset the modem and it was back(yes I power cycled it a couple times myself before this)...it's pretty bad when an actual human paid to help can't fix it.  I know low tier guys follow a check list, but this guy was more pulling things out of his butt than anything.  It's bad enough when you're talked to as though you don't know anything(I do understand they can't know how much I know magically), but when you can tell the person on the other end knows less that's when it bugs me.  I kind of wish I had been able to take the survey at the end of the call like you can if you get through the problem, because man they should do something about that guy...at least send him through training again.

I guess at least this was the only time in a while that I've called in and thought what a waste of time this was.  Heck once in the past when my cell dropped the call the same person who I was on the line with called our house phone(the one they have on file) back to continue the troubleshooting...kind of surprising now that I look back at it.  I have Charter Communications if anyone's curious, and beyond this last time, for the past few years they've been surprisingly good for me.

A few months back my friend was on an anime forum and decided to teach people how to get Godmode on a windows PC.  His thread got taken down because one person came on and said it's a virus.  He did explain what it was and was later able to post it up again and not have it removed, but man these days everything people don't understand is a virus.
