  1. If you haven't yet, you should pay the $5 for Origin Access and get Premium for BF3/4.
  2. What would i clamp it down with? a paperclip?
  3. i've white-fingered myself trying to plug it in many times. sometimes it doesn't unplug for months then will suddenly do it again.
  4. I would love to play BF4 or BF3 when my card gets here tomorrow. I prefer Rush honestly but I'm not opposed to any gamemode. Do you have Discord?
  5. I got a Corsair RM850 in 2014 and my 24-pin ATX cable refuses to stay plugged into the PSU, it just slides out at random and I lose power. I have to fiddle with it to get it to stay attached at all. Has anyone else had this problem and is there a fix for it? Different cables?
  6. I was looking at 1060 3GB, if i'm vigilant I think I can find one on sale for that low. I saw an ASUS one on sale for $310 the other day on Amazon but it sold out.
  7. My EVGA GTX 780 SC ACX caught fire the other night due to a factory defect in the card I received in an RMA two years ago. Despite it being their fault for not testing, EVGA won't replace it because I'm 90 days out of a 3-year warranty... So I've bandaided it with a Zotac 1050ti Mini for $145. I bought the Zotac because it was instock now as opposed to next week. I'm pretty poor rn because I had to take a month off work because of the gap between summer and fall terms at school. I'm gonna save up for a new card and I'm considering just getting a new case, power supply and cables and rebuilding in a smaller, better condition case than my current one. What's the most cost effective method of getting the performance I lost with the death of my 780? What's most "worth it"? I'd like to do VR, too. Near the end my 780 performed like shit anyway, so I'll be better off with the 1050ti, but I don't know if the card is gonna satisfy me long-term in terms of 1080p 144hz preferences.
  8. I'd like to see this work. Maybe use parts that are already black and only paint accent parts instead of the PCB? PCs can be plenty pretty without paint. Also, if you're going to paint, please make it smoother and more presentable. It looks like a poorly done repair to a car you'd see in the hood.
  9. Why would they bother when they have the Titan thing going on? In all honesty, the Titan is a better platform. None of the complications that come with multi-chip cards and all the power you'd get from a 990, were it built. Also 4x SLI.
