As the title claims I have had a problem for 2 years that I have put up with however no longer.
When I start my computer I run into no problems however after a short period of time regardless of what I am doing the yellow warning sign will appear in front of the ethernet symbol with the label "unidentified network no internet access". I discovered that right clicking the symbol and troubleshooting solved the problem which claimed to of "reset the ethernet adapter". However once this is done after a random amount of time passes it will simply happen again and sometimes it would refuse to be fixed by the simple method. So I would just use the realtek driver repair tool and then resume whatever I was doing. However I have ran into the same problem but this time nothing seems to work so it has remained yellow and with the message ethernet doesn't have a valid IP configuration for the last few hours.
Things I have tried:
Plugged the PC directly into the modem: It worked however my problem has been know to have random timing and I could of simply fallen lucky.
Tried wireless: worked
Tried different cables: didn't work
Tried different device with same cables: worked
New modem: no difference
New operating system: worked for longest recorded time so far but then stopped.
Specs:
AMD 8350
AMD 390X
ASUS sabortooth mb
BeQuiet 830w PSU
H55
1tb HDD
8gb 1866 ram
Tplink power line adapter
I have looked at many threads similar to mine however everyone else has had a more straight forward problem of what I have.
Extra note: I made a download log when I reinstalled win10 to see if any programming where causing the issue and ran into the problem when I downloaded an antivirus and browser (comodo) however problem persisted.
The only thing I can think of is that realtek is crap and I should buy Intel ethernet adapter. Also before posting YES all the correct boxes and options are ticked. YES DRIVERS ARE UPTO DATE NO I HAVE NEVER UPDATED MY BIOS
