  1. You origin account might have been banned, did you buy the game from g2a or something?
  2. I don't quite get why people are calling Musk dumb for believing something like this, if anything it's a better explanation for our reality than most others. Nick Boström's article on the subject is free and can be read, he answers a lot of the arguments put forth by several members of this forum. The article. I also find it amusing that people are calling a recognized genius dumb, you are most likely not even close to his intelligence so give his thoughts some weight and consider them for a bit before you judge him.
  3. I think if they could get it to cost 500€/$ I would order it right away. I hope HTC won't force the initial price to the moon because they are doing so bad financially, but somehow I believe it will cost at least 1 kidney at launch.
  4. I'm hoping Valve go the old console route, and try to earn money from game/experience sales, instead of pure profit from the hardware. I mean they have the ecosystem to do that succesfully (steam).
  5. Dota is only growing, there is no way HotS will ever overtake it. It will most likely make Dota 2 bigger, because people that normally wouldn't try a moba will because its blizzards game. After that the leap to Dota is possibly easier.
  6. "Why am I even posting this here? Well, there are rumors that NVIDIA held a ‘secret’ meeting where selected members of the press were briefed about new graphics card based on dual-GM200 processor. So far I have not confirmed this information. Either there were shown a very early engineering sample and it’s still days/weeks before it arrives, or it was not true. Either way, the only announcement I’m aware of is GeForce Now on October 1st. Should I learn more, you will be the first to know." My question is a rhetorical one, don't bother answering it. To stick to the topic. I hope Nvidia discloses the suspicions the consumers have about Maxwell DX12 support (Async Compute, and how they will adress it). I assume this will be a Maxwell card.
  9. "Select members of the press have already been briefed about this yet unannounced flagship product by Nvidia. The company conducted a “secret” meeting last week that was held in New York City , in which the new card was showcased to invited attendees. This was the very first time that any member of the press got to see Nvidia’s latest and fastest creation to date. The “secret” briefing mentioned above took place last week. Review samples of Nvidia’s upcoming dual GM200 graphics board have been issued since then and are now in circulation. We’ve learned that most of the lucky few who have managed to secure a sample unit have pretty much completed the bulk of their benchmarking and testing of the card. So when we say it’s coming out soon, we do mean soon." It will most likely be based on either the 980ti or titan-x. I personally find these cards rather silly, and would rather have them spend resources on creating new technology. --Edited to be more in line with the news section guidelines.
