If you are planning to go that route pick a Xeon, reliability is what they are known for same as new ram and to make it a monster machine a double CPU motherboard will have you set for awhile !!!

Has anyone done any benchmarks of ryzen and modeling software? Are those extra core really taking advantage?

Depends are you only using Autocad? is there anything else you like to run in it? You could have a $500 machine for Autocad. Let me know more and I will be happy to tell you my experience.

Hey thanks for responding. Okay so this is why I ask. I want to make a build with that purpose of 3d modeling + rendering and visualization, that's what I do for a living. Is gtx + quadro a good idea? I wish I had that budget to get the latest quadro but not really, I'm trying to find a sweet point price and performance. Thanks!

Hi everyone, I guess by now there is a lot there about this subject and I still will like to talk about this, what are the benefits of having a quadro + geforce in a computer for 3d modeling, rendering and visualization. How can someone take advantage of the specs of each card? Any ideas,or has someone experienced this before tell your results. Thanks!!!
