  1. The yota Phone 2, Dual screen phone? What do you guys think, cool, ridiculous or some combination of the two? http://yotaphone.com/gb-en/ http://techcrunch.com/2015/01/19/yotaphone-2-review/ http://www.techradar.com/reviews/phones/mobile-phones/yotaphone-2-1228308/review http://www.engadget.com/products/yota/yotaphone/2/ http://www.pcadvisor.co.uk/reviews/mobile-phone/3504276/yotaphone-2-hands-on-review-uk/ Thanks, -Billy
  2. My dad (who is an audiophile and has been for decades, and also is a music promoter for a living and was also in a band) just said to me that beats headphones were good, despite being a sworn senhiser customer for years. I don't really know what to say. Sure I was guilty of liking razer headphones for a while, but I realized the error of my ways as soon as I tried my friend's pair. But that was different. I'm very new to the audio scene and I liked the look of the striking green and black design. However, my dad is part of the music industry and loves everything about it so surely he should know better? Anyway, this was really just one of those "What has the world come to" kind of posts, so sorry if you came here looking for an interesting and thought provoking topic Thanks -Billy
  3. I'm not talking Korean off-brands. I mean the cheapest possible solution from a decent brand, eg Corsair. Ok, i'll take a look at those ones I have a cx430 curently, and your right the fan is quite quiet, however mine suffers from occasional electrical noises like buzzing which are very annoying
  4. Hey guys, Just so you know, my knowledge on PSU brands and models isn't exactly top-notch. I know what all the different features mean but I don't have much experience with a range of PSUs either online or in person. I was just wondering what a good quiet and affordable PSU that is 700w<. The main point here is that it is quiet as I am a real silence freak, but it also needs to be as cheap as possible. I would love to hear some suggestions! thanks, -Billy

  7. Valve have announced that BL2 and BL the Pre Sequel are coming to steam OS. I think that this is great and will help to move people over to steam OS. Even if I'm still going to stick to windows, I'm still very interested in steam OS and where it will be in the future. http://store.steampowered.com/news/14548/ original post from valve http://www.computerandvideogames.com/477901/steamos-gets-borderlands-2-borderlands-the-pre-sequel/ Article -Billy

  9. Cool, I'll be sure to pick up the naga 2014 soon then! Have a great day, and nice build
  10. Cool, I had a mamba 4G and loved it! I loved the size and the buttons. But I found myself craving more (which I also do with a lot of PC hardware ) buttons which is why I was looking at the naga 2014. Is it really that much bigger than the mamba? The dimensions are a few mm shorter on their website. How's the finish compared with the mamba? I couldn't stand how, no matter how hard I cleaned my mamba, it still had to finger prints on the left and right mouse buttons. Also (sorry for asking so many questions, but I want to make sure that I buy a product that I can stand behind!) can you use the naga for fps games? I know that it's not intended for that, but I loved my mamba for fps games and I was wondering if it was possible or if the side buttons were just too small and too many to use well in an fps game.
  11. Cool dude, It's all well and good saying that you don't care about cables 'cause you can't see them, but what if they snagged on a fan or something? Also what if you come to build a PC with a window and it looks terrible because there's wires everywhere? But apart from that a fantastic build. By the way, how's the razer naga 2014? I've been thinking about getting it as an all round mouse because I play pretty much everything (FPS, RPG, MOBA, RTS etc) and I want a mouse that can cater to all of those genres of games.
  12. I found your videos after being amazed that a friend built his own PC. Then, I found out that it was easy and said it was like building with lego, which made everyone think that I built a PC out of lego Thanks for the great videos! -Billy
  13. Hey guys, So, today I found some old isapropyll alcohol and decided that it was about time that my mamba got a clean. I made a solution of the isapropyll alcohol and water so that it was not to harsh on the finish. It worked ok, but left watermarks. I tried to get rid of the watermarks for a while, but gave up and returned to my pc. The mouse looked dry so I turned it on and used it for a couple of minuets. However, after this couple of minuets, the cursor stopped moving when I moved the mouse. All the buttons still worked and all the LEDs lit up normally.I tried cleaning the sensor with a cotton wool bud, and using it on a different PC but it stayed the same. Upon very close inspection, it looks as if there are very tiny water droplets inside the sensor. By this time, I was freaking out and grabbed the nearest hair dryer and put it on it's coolest setting (to try and be at least fairly gentle with it) but could not get these water droplets to come out. The problem is that I don't even know if they are water dropplets and I don't know how they could have got in. Sure some of the water/alcohol ran off and formed a small puddle around the mouse, but I dried it before using and water can't go up anyway. So what do you guys think? Will I need the replace the sensor? Will I just be able to open it up and dry the sensor? Also, It might be worth noting that this has happened before after cleaning and after about half an hour, fixed itself (Luckily just after I clicked on the razer support section of there website ) however, it's been more that half an hour now and it's still not helping. To be honest, I'm just asking for advice right now. Thanks -Billy
  14. OK, (dare I ask this question for fear of WWIII breaking out) what's a good audio grade headphone that I can mod to fit my colour scheme. I know I came across as a razer fanboy on this post, but I am quite open for suggestions on other brands. It's just that all my other peripherals are made by razer so I was leaning towards them. True, very true. OK Creatip123, I'm guessing that is a nudge for me to ask you what to do. So, what's a good audio grade headphone that I can mod to fit my colour scheme.
  15. There's always a first OK Thanks for confirmation Yeah, as soon as I find some black and orange ones that are in my price range (£100 or under)
