  1. Yes. Both the DVI and HDMI ports work just fine. ...(I updated the original post to have a link to the card in question)... I am not having any issues with those. The seller also stated that the display ports worked with his 4k monitor since the monitor had DisplayPort inputs. I have tried all of the adapters that I own. 3 of the Vantec adapters linked above (I doubt all 3 would be faulty), 2 different Cable Matters (have been verified to work with the GTX 660 that my 980 is replacing), as well as a DisplayPort to DVI adapter. None of the adapters require external power. The Vantec active adapter states that it is self powered and does not need any external power source.
  2. I've been in contact with the seller and he had the same issue with the card. The only way he was able to get it to work was to use this adapter: https://www.amazon.com/StarTech-com-DisplayPort-Active-Adapter-Converter/dp/B00A493CNY/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1485738411&sr=8-1&keywords=startech.com+displayport+to+dvi+dual+link+active+adapter+converter I've tried all three DisplayPorts and none of them will recognize the monitors through an adapter. It would seem weird for all three to be broken. The DVI and HDMI ports work just fine however.
  3. I just recently purchased a Asus Strix GTX 980 off of Craigslist for $240. Everything works just fine except I cannot get the DisplayPorts to recognize any of my displays. I am using 3, Vantec DisplayPort 1.2 to 4K HDMI 2.0 Active Adapters that I purchased on Amazon since none of my monitors have DisplayPort. I also have some passive Cable Matters adapters that I tried which also do not work. Does anyone have any suggestions about what I should do? I have a 4, 1080p monitor setup and I am only able to use 2 of them. The card in question: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814121905
  4. Keyboard: Razer Black Widow Ultimate 2013 Battlefield 4 Edition (that came out of a dumpster) Mouse: Gigabyte GM-M6800 Headset: Corsair Vengeance 1300 Mousepad: Geico "gaming" mousepad
  5. I would love a Sagitta Spectrum mouse. I've been running a cheap Gigabyte gaming mouse for the past 5ish years and it's definitely feeling the age.
  6. If I were to win this ssd, I would give it to my roommate since I already have an SSD and he has slow loading programs to run such as solidworks/autodesk and programs which are a part of the Adobe Creative Cloud.
  7. I would love the KOVA mouse. I've been using a $15 Gigabyte mouse for the past 5+ years as well as various 5 button Microsoft mice for even longer. The additional buttons as well as the RGB lighting would definitely be a great addition to my 3 year old setup as I've never spent the money to get a worthwhile mouse... While my 3770k may still be going strong, my GTX 660 is definitely showing its age though. Maybe if I win this mouse, I will finally give in to buying a new NVIDIA or AMD graphics card.
  8. I would love to have this PC. I've been wanting a decent machine in my living room for media streaming from netflix, youtube, my plex server, etc, as well as a steam machine to stream my games to the big screen form my main desktop PC.
  9. Personally, it was a toss up between 4k and slo-motion. I know neither is "new" technology, but I am a huge fan of camera upgrades and it is definitely a selling point for me when I look at buying a new phone. My Samsung GS4 may still be a fantastic phone, but I think that the GS6+ Edge is better in almost every single way minus a couple personal preferences.
