  1. Disable the V-Sync..Set the setting to High..run the card on default setting..Don't expect much from GTX 1050ti. As per your machine that's natural for GTA 5. Use MSI Afterburner (its free) for in game stats, it helps you.
  2. Yes, the power supply is sufficient. http://www.coolermaster.com/power-supply-calculator/ Check by yourself.
  3. GTX 980 : 4GB GTX 980Ti: 6GB GTX 1060 : 3GB/6GB (5GB for OEM) GTX 1070 : 8GB ---------------------------------------- In real world, the GTX 980Ti is faster then GTX 1060. But the GTX 980 is somehow equal to GTX 1060 in performance (in games). If you get the GTX 980Ti in less price (used ones), go for it. Currently the prices are high.
  4. When you bought the i3-8100 and Asus Maximus X Hero motherboard...the windows 7 is already on the old hard disk...right? You have connected you windows 7 hard disk to your new machine..right? If your answer is YES, then you have to re-installed the windows 7 on your new machine. Windows 10 64 bit would be preferred. Once you get your new graphics card, just installed it with the latest driver. I hope you have more than 4GB DDR4 RAM, if yes..then you should use 64 Bit Windows. Hope this helps.
  5. Don't think much..go for it..its a very good deal..buy the RX 570 8GB and sell your GTX 770 2GB. Before buying..check the card on your machine and get the original bill for warranty, if required. Happy Gaming.
  6. Yes that's right, go for used nvidia GTX 970 / 980 / 780Ti OR AMD 290/390. If you want a newer card then go for GTX 1070 OR 1070Ti. Prices are really high now. I would suggest to wait for few months.
  7. No idea for 3 screens on GTX 980Ti for latest games (60+FPS). I thought it was a single screen. If you are not happy with the performance (below 60 FPS), get the GTX 1080 (non Ti). Its your choice completely.
  8. That's good to hear..your machine is back to normal. Sometimes when you use several programes to monitor temps, it happens..the software reads the temps of each core and reflect as a single unit. Happy gaming.
  9. Your upgrade shouldn't called an upgrade, but yes its an upgrade. Do one thing, don't sell the GTX 1050Ti now..try to sell the GTX 960. You will get some better frame rates on 1050Ti. Because most of the games will run on medium to high on it OR do the custom setting on games. The power consumption is less and driver optimization is better on Pascal. GTX 1050Ti is a very good card..it beats GTX 960 maxwel and GTX 770 kepler.
  10. Your motherboard have quad channel support..2 black and 2 blue slots on either sides. Now, put the 8GBx2 RAM on one side (say on black) and put the other 4GBx2 on other side (same black slots)...after doing this...restart and go to the BIOS and set the ENABLE the XMP profile (1600). And change the Latency to CL9 on black Vengeance sticks. Save and exit. CPU-Z now should show you the DRAM Frequency as 800.0 Mhz. Use DDU and remove the installed driver in safe mode..and install the latest nvidia driver 391.01. Hope this will help you.
  11. Hello, i7 4770k + GTX 980Ti = 1080p gaming is perfectly ok. If you want to upgrade to GTX 1080Ti then its bottleneck the i7 4770k. GTX 1080Ti is very powerful GPU. If you want to get the GTX 1080Ti, then upgrade the CPU as well, i.e i7 8700k, then you will get the benefit. Or else wait for another 1 year, because your GPU is just one generation old. I hope this will help.
  12. Revo uninstaller is a uninstalling programme..anyways i will use DDU..i will post once I am done. Thank you.
  13. Hi friends, Need help as the nvidia driver 382.05 is causing some issues while playing old and new games. I was playing Battlefield Bad Company 2 and Medal of Honor 2010 few days ago and both the games are not smooth at all. This issue is with Rise of the Tomb Rider as well. Then I have uninstalled the 382.05 and installed the 375.86. Now there is no issues at all with any games. Can anyone help me with the best driver as the 375.86 is I guess 5 months old.
  14. For gaming go for i5 6500 with Z170 or H170 chipset. And on the other hand FX 8350 is not a bad cpu. It has the potential to perform but not as the top line i5's. The same question was mine 3 years ago...i5 4670K vs FX 8350.
  15. Hi, For 1080p gaming RX 480 4GB would be sufficient. Practically the 4GB version is for modern games with all details up, I am using GTX 770 2GB for the last 3 years..sometimes i feel 4GB would be better. If I buy any card today then, i will go for 6GB or 8GB for 1080p or 1440p for the next 3 years or may be 5 years. Hence go for 8GB version.
  16. Anytime the GTX 970 over GTX 960.
  17. Go for Intel Core i7 6800K...this chip is good for gaming and rendering..
  18. Thank you for all the suggestion... Personally i like Corsair Vengeance because I am using 4GB DDR3 x 2 for the last 3 years without any problem. Is there any difference in Corsair Vengeance and Corsair Vengeance LP by any chance.
  19. Hello Friends, Please suggest me a good gaming DDR3 RAM. I have short listed some RAM, which are: Corsair Vengeance, Kingston HyperX FURY, Corsair Vengeance LP and G.Skill Ripjaws X. Due to the cpu cooler i am not able to use the Corsair Vengeance in all slots. Hence, please suggest me DDR3 1600 MHz 8GB stick at 1.5 volts. Thank you.
  20. Hi All, For medium to high gaming at 1080p, please see the below GPUs: $250 or below: R7 370 2GB and GTX 950 2GB. $250 - $280 : R7 380 2GB and GTX 960 2GB. You can go for 4GB versions but these gpu's don't use that amount of VRAM in most games. ($20 more). Thank you
  21. Go for nvidia 970 4GB or 280X 3GB. The 970 4GB is more powerfull GPU.
  22. Hi Guys...please help to resolve the above issue.
  23. Hi, Go for Cooler Master hyper 412 Slim. Its a pull push setup. The fans are slim and very effective. I have Hyper 212X and using it for the last 1 year. Maximum temp is 52c when I am gaming. So 412 slim is better than 212x. Thanks.
