  1. It won't, the second monitor will use negligible amounts of resources
  2. Prices will still drop. I would wait (in fact I am, gonna upgrade to the 1080ti/evga XXXX when evga releases)
  3. Use code tags- https://linustechtips.com/main/announcement/12-please-use-code-tags/
  4. Have you built a pc before? A full build in a backpack is going to be HEAVY. In addition, you would need a keyboard, mouse, and monitor available everywhere you go. Why not just buy a laptop?
  5. With that way I'd thought, I could get you a rig for like 50$. Granted, it would be terrible, by that is technically "as cheap as possible". It's way easier if you just give us a budget. I would also suggest just building your final PC and skip this cheap intermediate option as you are essentially throwing money down the drain.
  6. You could use JavaScript to access Spotifys web API to play a random song from your playlist for X amount of time. It should be fairly simple.
  7. There used to be an app a while back where you could watch 30 second ads and do other stuff like that to earn points, which could later be redeemed for small scale ($5) gift cards to different stuff. You can also simply use bing and collect bing Rewards for simply searching. Again, small scale gift cards for the most part but it's essentially free money.
  8. You can install produkey to get the key, but ussually you don't need it as the motherboard will automatically activate it.

  10. Memory overclocking is done through XMP (extreme memory profile), which is only supported on z and x series chipsets. Motherboards wouldn't say "supports RAM" overclocking but rather say "supports XMP"

  12. This is not true. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Disk_buffer disk caches allows data to be read/written faster. Larger cache = more data temporarily store for fast recovery.
  13. Yes, cache is always important, although the faster the drives the less noticeable caches are.
  14. I doubt there's much of a benifit, all of my laptops disable the battery and charger at about 90%
  15. Unlikely, it is a very common setting to disable, you may have disabled it a long time ago without remembering. Honestly it makes no sense for it to even exist on desktops.
  16. Disable mouse acceleration, that may be the issue. http://www.tomshardware.com/faq/id-1953585/completely-turn-mouse-acceleration-windows.html
  17. No, that button only has an effect on the keyboard; windows doesn't even recognize when that key is pressed.

  19. Change your font color for night theme users. It's unlikely, often times the CPU is soldered to the board for AIO.

  21. nope, i would quick format though as that wont write garbage to the drive (that may decrease lifespan).
