  1. Just to update, I logged into that old Facebook account I haven't used in a long time and marked it for deletion. Apparently that takes a month, but ever since I did that (And changed the password first before doing so), I stopped received the nightly text messages with a code.
  2. I'm looking for a monitor that is around 32", 4K, 120+hz refresh rate, and g-sync/freesync. Does something like that exist? I was looking on Newegg and put in the fields I was interested in and I saw a number of 27" models (A bit smaller than I was hoping for), or it jumps up to a few 43" models which is larger than I'd like. If I want to stay around 32", should I just go 1440p instead or is there a 4K option I can check out? Thanks.
  3. Is "Messenger" mentioned in the text I'm receiving Facebook Messenger or something else? If it's Facebook, that's an older account and password I haven't changed in awhile (Years I think).
  4. Should I just ignore it then? Also, how would this work exactly? I haven't had anyone actually ask me for the code that's getting sent to my phone. Also, is "Messenger" mentioned in the text Facebook Messenger or is that something else? I made a Facebook account a couple of years ago but don't use it and haven't logged into it in awhile now.
  5. About a week ago out of the blue around 2AM my time I got a text message saying "Your Messenger verification code is G-######". I changed my passwords pretty recently, about a month ago. My installation of Windows is pretty fresh too so I don't suspect there's anything fishy on my system. I've gotten this same text message exactly once a day, every day for the last week or so. The timing is similar but not exactly the same, it's always between 2AM-3:30AM my local time. I Googled this and saw some others have experienced similar things, but I couldn't find any concrete information about what wa
  6. I don't believe it's linked to anything of importance. I've been using gmail for everything for a very long time now. Should I just ignore the login attempts then?
  7. I just got 5 or 6 emails in quick succession of Yahoo sending me a verification code to log into a Yahoo email I haven't used in close to a decade and forgot existed. I just changed most of my passwords only a week ago, not including that Yahoo account because I don't use it or care about it. But the login attempts have me a little spooked I guess, should I be concerned at all? Does the fact I'm getting the verification codes mean they have the password for that account already? I remember I've come up on have I been pwned a few times in the past, and I always changed relevant passwords after
  8. I need something for a stream, I don't want the game sounds to get picked up by my mic. The thing is with earbuds inside my ears, it feels really weird to talk, can even hear myself breathing etc. Normally I would just wear a headset, but it's pretty hot in my room and only going to get hotter in the next couple of months. So I'm looking for something super lightweight and comfortable, but doesn't actually go in the ear. I don't want it to have a microphone, and bonus points if it's wireless. Can anyone recommend me something that ticks the boxes? Thank you.
  9. I managed to get it to post by manually setting the voltage to 1.4 instead of using Auto. I'll run some benchmarks to see if it's stable. Is 1.4 alright for everyday use? The RAM is is rated for 1.35v

CPU: Ryzen 3900X Motherboard: Asus Crosshair Hero VI (Latest Bios) RAM: G.Skill Trident Z Neo Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 288-Pin RGB PC4-28800 DDR4 3600MHz CL16-19-19-39 1.35V This is what CPU-Z is showing me: I'm not really into overclocking much, especially RAM speeds I don't touch often. On my previous Intel setup I would just enable XMP and be done with it. I did some Googling and saw a suggestion to turn on DCOP, when I do the bios has an option for 3600 MHZ for the RAM, I save the bios and it doesn't POST. How exactly should I proceed to get the
  11. Is there some way I can check if the CPU cooler is compatible (Dimension-wise) with my motherboard and RAM? I put together the list of what I'm planning to use here: PCPartPicker Part List Type Item Price CPU AMD Ryzen 9 3900X 3.8 GHz 12-Core Processor $431.99 @ Amazon CPU Cooler be quiet! 12. After watching some videos and doing a little more reading, I think I'd like to pull the trigger on getting a Ryzen 3900X. It gets comparable results to a 9900K in gaming and is about $100 USD less from what I can tell. I'd like some input on what motherboard/RAM to get for it, make sure it's good and compatible and all that. 13. I'm in the same boat here, I haven't use an AMD CPU in ages. This is the first time I'm considering them, the 3900x and 3950x both look pretty good and potentially within my budget. Just not sure if it's the best use of the budget or not. The 10th gen Intel release confuses me a little, are they out now or not yet? It looks like some things are on Amazon but I don't see the products on some other sites yet.
  14. Budget (including currency): $1500-2000 USD Country: USA Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Path of Exile, FFXIV, Last Epoch, OBS Streaming (Maybe, might look into using old PC as a stream PC) Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): My current PC is a 7700K, GTX 1080, it's a fine enough PC but my situation is we have two gamers in the house and only the one good PC. So this one I want to build is so we can play tog
