Currently working on a new build and am looking for Win7/Win8.1 64bit professional without it running me up $130. Any good sources to purchase it? I'm going to be upgrading to windows 10 anyway.

I already got a monitor with Newegg's black november deals. Now I'm trying to hold out untill bf/cm actually roll around so hopefully I can find a deal on a GPU, HDD or RAM.

By gaming I mean mainly League of Legends, and I want something that runs smoothly on the ultrawide resolution for my monitor. Other people have been suggesting r9 380's and the popular 970's but I'm on a budget and this 960 2gb comes with a mousepad and a backplate for $179.

Newegg has it's black November sales already in progress before black friday and cyber monday come around. What I'm wondering is if $179 for a 2gb 960 (After MIR) is a good price or should I expect better on cyber monday itself. What I'm asking is in the past, have graphics card prices dropped even further on cyber monday compared to weeks prior, or will $179 for the 960 be the cheapest it will come down?

Ubuntu as a live USB on my Macbook Pro 13" because the HDD is failing. It's running smoother than ever now that I use the USB to boot. I don't use it for any gaming at all. Just videos and internet browsing.

I got my PSU from Newegg, Rosewill 750w Photon (Gold Certified) for $79.99 USD (which would be around $120 New Zealand dollars) at the time of purchase. Personally I haven't hooked it up yet because my build isn't complete, but on Newegg it recieved 4 out 5 eggs for 90% of people for the price. I've noticed corsair PSU are usually a bit more expensive, I'm not sure about cooler master though. But for the price and being 750w Gold it was a good deal.

As far as background playing goes, hopefully people already know how to use safari and chrome on their iPhones to play youtube music in the background with swiping up and playing the audio from it.

I agree with the poster of this. I was too looking for an IPS in that price range then saw this ultrawide and went and bought one the other day. If it is short like people are saying I'll look around for a single desk mount arm around black friday/cyber monday. I really don't need 144hz and I'd prefer an IPS. I'm working on my first PC build and personally I love the idea of having an ultrawide monitor and having much more to look at across a single screen, however most of my activities would include watching anime and playing league of legeneds. I'd prefer an IPS panal and I know LoL can stretch and fit the 21:9 ratio but the anime would be pillarboxed at 16:9.I found an LG ultrawide on newegg on a black November deal for $159 and thought it was a great deal. I know monitors with a 21:9 ratio often get looked over by anime fans because of the black bars but are they really that annoying? I've always worked with 16:9 so I'm not sure how the feel of pillboxing would affect me. Any input would be great thanks.

I have an early 2011 Macbook Pro that is significantly not efficient. The battery is non existant so it always has to be plugged in and also I believe the hard drive is beginning to fail on it because the screen stutters a lot and I can do simple we tasks such as imputting text but when it comes to me going to videos on youtube or anything like that it goes into super lag mode and won't do anything untill I close the page. What I'm looking for is a cheap fix for my Macbook so I can at least have something to use for the moment. Should I buy a cheap SSD or HDD or can something like a USB or CD be used. Or if you think my troubleshooting is wrong what are your opinions? I have 67gb left of free storage on the stock HDD so it's not cluttered.

NZXT hue are $30 for low density lights. Go on Amazon, search "LED strips" go to the Supernight roll of high density LEDs with the controller for $24. You can get waterproof or non-waterproof. But get the 5050 version because it has a true white option that the lower ones dont. -high density -lower price than NZXT hue -16.4 feet of LEDs -comes with controller

I haven't built my rig yet, but I purchased the Rosewill Photon 750w (gold) for $80, but if you want around 500w they have a 550w Photon (gold) for $69.99 on Newegg. Both fully modular.

We had a teacher in high school right, whenever his computer was slowing down my friends and I would suggest that he turn it off and back on again. @Timmy-P Not sure, although the whole 850 EVO series is rated 4-5 stars on newegg along with good reviews for a cheap price per gb compared to Intel.

I'm looking for a 16gb flash drive to move my iTunes library off my old Macbook and onto a new PC. Along with a Windows bootable ISO file. Don't need anything with crazy fast speeds. It will only be used occasionally.
