  1. Yo, yo, I need an Intel NUC so I can get me some luck. I'm white. Sorry.
  2. I really like the waterproof part. Just going through the rain with my Moto G terrifies me...would be great to have a phone that you could drop in a pool and have survive! Dbrand is awesome because they seem to care about the community. I know it's marketing, but still, they did it
  3. My 7770 would gladly retire for that 270x. And my tired old PSU would just explode from seeing that OCZ PSU. Look at that thing. Sexy.
  4. Here is an overclock I have on my processor (listed in title), is it a good one? I think the core voltage is pretty high for what it is achieving, but overclocking is still new to me.
  5. I like how it doesn't shout anything; it has good specs at a good price. There are no unreasonable expectations it has to live up to.
  6. Silver Night, great insight there. That R9 280x is ludicrously cheap, and looking around at 7970's on eBay has been an eye-opener. I will probably buy a refurbished one off eBay now. Thanks
  7. Hey! So I've been looking to upgrade my 7770 (This one: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814121632 ) to a faster card (specifically to play watch dogs/metro last light). I'm having issues working out the best card to fit my current system while operating at a sub 250 dollar pricepoint. It seems that I have the option between a GTX 760 and a R7 270x, and I can't figure out which is best. They each seem to have their own thing going for them. Any experience or insight would be great. Thanks P.S.: Currently I have a 965 Black Edition (totally stock clockspeed) which doesn't seem to be stressing, so I'm not concerned about bottlenecking it. I also have a 600w power supply, so I'm not concerned about having too little power. My mobo is an Asus m5a97.
  8. Just installed. Really great; doesn't add any latency that I can see.
  9. I dropped my last one, so I am a bit nervous about going caseless. I would if I could. Wow, that Poetic one seems awesome. I will probably get it. Thanks man
  10. Hey, I am going to be buying a Nexus 7 pretty soon and I was wondering if anyone has any experience with a really nice case. I don't want it to be bulky, but I also wouldn't mind a book-style case. (Like the Snugg one for Nexus 7 2012) Any help is appreciated
  11. I think you should wear the apron for the next WAN show. No particular reason, it would just be weirdly interesting.
  12. This is an amazing product. I like that they did all of the "right things" (design plans, prototype, all the specs). I really wish I had the money to invest in it.
  13. I am running a WD Caviar Blue drive, the 500gb variety. My story behind why I use it is kind of...interesting. I bought a HP Pavillion desktop for something like 400 dollars about 3-4 years back. It was my first computer that was *my own*. This computer had the worst OEM case imaginable, with a Pegatron branded motherboard and onboard Nvidia graphics. In short, it was amazing for my independence, but it was not the best. By far. In this computer was this hard drive. It was really nice, smooth, and I never had any trouble. Buttttt...I decided to upgrade. So I bought a AMD 965 BE (Still have it). It was then I learned that my mobo couldn't handle it. So I bought a new motherboard. I had to buy a graphics card along with that new motherboard. The motherboard was ATX, my case was MicroATX (I was technologically inept at that point in time). I bought a new case. That case did not fit on my desk. I had to make a new desk out of two planks of wood, a filing cabinet and two cubes made of wire panels fitted together with plastic fittings. I am still using all of this stuff, except the graphics card (recently upgraded). Throughout this entire process, that hard drive was a saint. It never failed. I have 400 days of ontime. I've reinstalled Windows 7 4 times. I've moved it from one case to another. I've dropped it during that process (again, technologically inept at that point). But that hard drive...wow. It still performs as well as it did on day 1. I mean it is just a soldier/saint/amazing/awesome thing. I've never had a reason to upgrade (besides the small size which limits my ability to view movies/tv shows). Twitter shared @ben__Ritchie: https://twitter.com/Ben__Ritchie/status/375074923418365952

    My R4

That is beyond sexy. This needs to be a build of the week. Whoa...
  15. Okay, revision to my last post: I am unsure if they use Verizon Fios for their internet. When I ping the address, it comes up with the IP. (It also gets a 100% packet loss rate) The proxy I am using is a Yahoo! IP. The Proxy IP is 68.180.195.138.
