  1. Yeah I agree, whatever is between Riley and Linus is between them, that's their business and honestly I don't think there's any issue. My issue was the how utterly dismissive and frankly condescending the reply was. People were obviously genuinely concerned. On the flip side, I think I get Linus' reaction too tho. There were a lot of hasty accusations and hostility thrown at him for what i'm sure seemed to be no reason. I still think it could have been handled better tho.
  2. I disagree wholeheartedly, it obviously is an issue. As content creators you shoulder the responsibility of ensuring your message comes off in the manner you intend and if it doesn't then that's okay but you should at the very least acknowledge that something went wrong and not point the blame to the audience. Once again, the issue should have been addressed professionally and maturely and it was not. Instead we got an "It was just a prank bro".
  3. Hi, don't really use the forum but I thought this was important enough to put in my 2 cents. To Linus, after watching the WAN show I as well as many of your viewers left with a sour taste in our mouths. I think that whether Riley actually got his feelings hurt is entirely beside the point. Through the years, you've shown us that you care deeply for your employees and I have no doubt that you treat them well, however, I think that what was said on the WAN show went a little too far. You were being rude, and what your said could have easily been taken as being extremely hurtful, and it was taken as such by much of the audience if not by Riley himself. I understand the culture of banter, it's one of my favorite things about TechLinked and TechTips content, but as a content creator, you failed miserably to make it clear in the moment that it was simply banter. Furthermore, and this is what worries me, you're response is entirely dismissive, and contains no apology at all. You don't apologize for it not being clear that it was a joke, hell you don't even recognize that there was any issue whatsoever, when obviously the audience thought there was a problem. I don't like the idea of any content creator absolutely ignoring and dismissing the audience in this way, particularly with such a condescending tone. Your response to all this, and this is just my interpretation but I think a fair one, is basically "Audience you're stupid for even thinking I was serious when I deadpanned the whole thing, re-watch it and look closer." I love the content you guys produce and I want to continue enjoying long into the future but I didn't enjoy this content, you can do better. I hope you all take this constructively and do better in the future for it.
  4. This thing would be so great for taking to friends houses to play together
  5. I like the headset because as a bit of an audiophile, many gaming headsets just don't cut it when it comes to sound quality. The Feenix Aria headset looks very premium.
