  1. Thanks guys! I'm super happy with it. ?
  2. Hey y'all! This is my first attempt at watercooling. Was an interesting, anxiety provoking process with some interesting issues. Like you're not supposed to be able to keep the HDD cage if you have a 360 rad up front. But I managed to make it all work, and there's no leaks! 3. Yeah! Everything is perfectly stable! Holding at 44c in Metro Last Light Redux, 3440x1440, everything on highest settings. Hell, even Star Citizen is more stable ???
  4. Dude... I owe you like 27 drinks..still doing some testing, but it appears that this worked!
  5. Thanks, I'll try reassembling the block. I was a dumb ass and lomg story short threw away some thermal pads that were on the cooler to the GPU (but didn't make contact with the chip, so for now I can't test that.
  6. I'm monitoring temps and they aren't getting above 50c...
  7. Howdy! So I just got done doing massive overhaul to my rig by adding a custom water loop. I didn't change any of the components outside of adding a water block to my gpu. Before this, everything worked fine. Now, every single game I've treid crashes withing 5 seconds of starting. When I crash, I usually don't get a dialog window, the game just freezes. I've tried: Updating and uninstalling/reinstalling drivers Reseating GPU and ram Uninstall EBGA percision and nvidias before experience Swapping ram slots Trying games from different drives My rig: i7 5820k @4.4 ghz 32gb 2133 ddr4 (8 modules) Evga 1080ti sc2 Corsair hx1050 psu Intel p900 optane drive Samsung 970evo nvme and 850evo sata 2x 3 tb Seagate barracuda drives Water loop: Ekwb d5 res/pump combo Ekwb p360 and s240 rads Ekwb supremacy cpu block Evga hydro copper gpu block. I'm aty wits end. Any ideas would be great. Thanks!
  8. Thanks for the suggestion. I can try that.
  9. Good morning everyone! So, I've been having a very strange issue recently where my computer won't resume Windows after being women up from sleep mode. But first, backstory: I recently had to upgrade my mobo from an MSI X99 sli-a Plus to an ASROCK x99 Fatal1ty gaming pro i7. After I upgraded, I did a clean install of Windows 10. Before the hardware change, everything worked fine (until I had to upgrade due to a bad usb port, of course). Now, the computer starts up just fine, and will boot to the correct drive. However, when I put the computer to sleep, it won't resume Windows when I wake it. This happens both when women via the power button or mouse/keyboard. When this happens, I have to power cycle the computer. Things I've tried are: Reset RAM and cpu clock to stock. Made sure the right drive was selected as the boot drive. Made sure the drives weren't turned off when in sleep. Made sure it can be awoken via usb input. Turned off hibernate via elevated command prompt AND power settings. Reseated SATA cables. Changed boot drive SATA3 port. Clean reinstall of NVidia drivers. Updates bios. Updated all mobo drivers to the best of my knowledge. Manually updated Windows. Reinstalled windows. Reseated RAM. Seated RAM in slots A2, B2, C2, D2 instead of A1, B1,C2,D1. (this gave me POST code 33 on Dr. deBug) I'm at my wits end, and don't know what else the issue could be. I'd also rather not reinstall Windows, not do i want to just leave it on 24/7. Any suggestions? I greatly appreciate it. 10. Thanks for the suggeations! My cpu is moderately overclocked to boost up to 4.2ghz, which I did using bios presets. I don't have spare RAM, but I can certainly try reseating them or trying the other 2 channels. I don't want to just shut it down every night, as I've heard (but have no supporting evidence) that doing so is bad for the HDDs and could wear them out faster. But if that's not the case, then I suppose that's not a bad option.

  12. Not with the blue switches. Corsair discontinued making RGB keyboards with blue switches a while back.
  13. I'll have to look at that second one. I like the K70 lux, but like you said, its not RGB. Which isnt the biggest thing, I just really like the reactive typing haha.
  14. Good morning everyone! I am looking for a new (mechanical) keyboard, and am running into some issues finding one that has everything that I am looking for. I currently have a Logitech g510s, which works great for gaming, but I've never liked typing on it. And i type a lot. So, what I'm looking for (in order of importance) is: Cherry MX Blue switches (or another reputable brand) Dedicated media controls, especially a volume controller Metal construction (or ate least a metal backplate RGB lighting other things that would be nice, but not mandatory: low profile keycaps USB and audio passthrough Wrist rest LCD screen (i actually use the one on my g510s to monitor my hardware temps and useage in-game, so I don;t need an OSD that will take me out of the action) As for other switch recommendations: I know a lot will say "try brown switches" or "try red switches"- I have, and I didn't like them. Here are some keyboards that I've found, but they are all lacking in something: Tesoro Gram Spectrum- Honestly, this is my first choice. I love the low profile design and keycaps, but its missing the dedicated media controls. Corsair K70/K95 RGB- this one would be perfect, but they discontinued the blue rgb switches. G,Skill Ripjaws KM780- This has literally everything I want, but is kinda ugly, and I've read that (at least at launch), the color transitions were NOOOT smooth. Does anyone know if this has been fixed via firmware/software updates? Razer Blackwidow Chroma V2- I REALLY like the switches, but it feels cheap, lacks the dedicated media controls, and is overpriced, considering its all plastic and has the Kailh switches. If anyone has any recommendations, that would be great. Ya'll are awesome. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- i7 5820K (OC to 4.5ghz @ 1.25v) Corsair H100i V2 MSI 970 Gaming 4g SLI 16gb Corsair DDR4 Samsung 840 EVO 250 gb 7TB HDD Corsair 500r
