  1. Hey everyone! I have recently built a new computer and have been playing it a bit here and there. So on friday I played games on it with no lag at all (I was playing The Forest), I come back to play at the same spot same game and now it has some random lag spikes, I dont know what the problem could be maybe a failed startup or something weird... anyway I am concerned and want to know how to fix, thanks! btw my gpu is the gtx 970 if that helps at all
  2. I found out the problem, I had the xeon and I guess since it doesn't have integrated graphics it could not handle windows 10 so I went to windows 7 and installed drivers and it just worked! I don't know why but it worked
  3. Hello, I just built my first gaming computer and I am hyped! I tried loading up windows 10 from a usb but it kept on freezing on getting devices ready. So, I decided to load up windows 8 from a usb and got through all the steps and when I went to put in the wifi info, or just anything in general it freezes after about one minute. Can anybody help I want to get to gaming etc. but cant even load up an OS. P.S I tried loading up a trial of the linux OS and it worked but windows can't seem to fully work. Thanks!
  4. Alright, well yesterday I decided to switch to windows 8, and it worked well but once I got past the login and I went to put in my wifi info, or just anything it would freeze like a minute in
  5. Sorry, I had it in troubleshooting but didn't know if that was the right one.
  6. For around 10 minutes, and then I finally got it to work on Windows 8 but it kept on freezing.
  7. Hey guys I have just recently built my first gaming pc build and am trying to download an os. I downloaded Windows 10 onto a usb and ran it up no problem. But, after I took out the usb and loaded it onto the ssd it would sometimes get to loading device 11%, then loading %53 before freezing. And I even got as close as getting ready but then it would just freeze. I don't think it is a hardware problem because I ran Linux os perfectly fine. Any help please?
  8. Whoops I meant to say are they compatible? My bad
  9. I would but I find it no longer reliable because it said that for that cpu a 1151 would work so I ordered and no it just didn't work and I felt stupid , anyway thanks for the response!
  10. Is the Intel Xeon 1231 e3 1150 compatible with the h97 atx lga 1150 motherboard?
  11. Alright so I have a quick question, I am getting the gigabyte h97 1150 ddr3 motherboard and I have an Intel Xeon 1231 e3 1150 cpu and I have 2 x8 gb ddr3 hyper X ram. Since the numbers on the ram and cpu line up logically speaking it should work fine with this motherboard Motherboard: http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00K7807IK/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?qid=1458886545&sr=8-1&pi=SX200_QL40&keywords=h97+motherboard&dpPl=1&dpID=61grLnodDcL&ref=plSrch
  12. Well I bought it on amazon, and do you think amazon prime gets any special privileges to this rule?
  13. No I figured it out that I am stupid I had an Intel Xeon 1231 e3 which is like lga 1500, but the motherboard was only compatible with 1501 or something like that, but anyway will I still be fine, can I get a refund?
