Alright that will be the last resort, thank you all! -
Setting up a private WiFi network from school ethernet issues
MrLigugu replied to MrLigugu's topic in Networking
I did try disabling the DHCP server but didn't try running it through a LAN port, I thought this just wouldn't emit the wifi because it wasn't connected to the WAN socket -
Today I brought my own router because the school's WiFi does not reach to a certain room, there are computers in this room with ethernet cables attached, so I unplugged one and plugged it into the router (into the WAN port which works perfectly at home). It broadcasts the network because it has power, but the internet does not work. Do I need to change any of the router settings? (All I have done is set my own password etc so me and friends can access it).

My Sont Xperia m4 Aqua has frozen completely. When it was working, I turned it off to put a new 8GB microSD inside. After turning it on, a progress bar appeared (photo below) and it has stopped at 99%. I have tried resetting, and turning off and on, with no luck. Nothing happens, It just stays on the same screen. All help appreciated.

But how would you then emit the code via NFC to open the door?

So my school has recently purchased doors that open via NFC using wristbands. I can scan the data from my wristband and all the info comes up. My question is, is there a way to open these doors from the NFC chip on my phone? Eg. Just scan my phone to open the door?

A PSU is good enough (for an average rig) if it has enough power to power your rig, and is atleast 80+ Bronze certified.

So basically, I have a Linux (Ubuntu 14.04) partition and created a partition to install Windows on. The only issue being that my drive is formatted to MBR and not GPT - Windows, according to the installer, can only install to a drive formatted to GPT. My question is; is it possible to convert the partition that I would like to install windows on without affecting my Linux partiton?

Whenever I touch it, there is a small discharge of current, you can feel it. A constant charge. I can feel it on the whole I/O shield

I have just built my new PC, and everything went well. However, when I touch my vga/dvi port on the I/O shield and the ones on the GPU, there is a small electric current. It is very small and gives you a tingling sensation on your finger. Is this normal or very bad? EDIT: I can feel it on the whole I/O shield

Either NVidia drivers or perhaps try checking the temperature of your components?

And don't go with that other guy reccommending beats.. One more thing, on PCPartpicker you can peripherals to your build - one of those being headphones. So start a system build and have a look at headphones on there - because there is a WIDE range and a LOT of filters which is awesome

Well, I can't answer your question directly by reccommending other headphones, but I would highly reccommend AKG as they have amazing sound quality and are reliable (in my experience). If you're going 1080p and above then these are good imo. (And they are extremely comfy to wear).

Well during install you should be able to select where the OS is installed to. What distro you going with? -

I don't see the problem? You have the spare 75GB space? Just install linux into that
