  1. @lmaobadatmath @Wufflez I assume DDR4 3000 would be enough as far as RAM?
  2. ? Wish Zen 2 came out the beginning of the year. I've been super hesitant about upgrading just to try and wait for it.
  3. Hmm. I do know that I had a problem with the new NVENC when I first tried it and did a Windows Reset worked pretty well. I don't know what the issue was, to be honest. Could have been drivers, could have been just about anything for my system lol.
  4. Currently, have an i7 4790K on Haswell art. A little rough to do an upgrade on LGA 1150 ?
  5. Not really sure what CPU to pair with my current GTX 1070 for the options required. 9700K, 8700K, 9900K, 2700X, 3700X(?) Help! BUDGET AND LOCATION: The USA. I do have a Microcenter within reach. Quite flexible. $600-800 If anything will part over time. AIM: Replacing my computer's core to increase a bit of client-side and viewer-side performance. Preferably would rather do a single computer setup. Still, want similar or better rendering performance in Premiere and After Effects. MONITORS: If possible, I'd like to still run my dual monitor setup with a chance of maybe working in my old 144hz for video watching purposes due to the weird Windows framerate video playback (bug? not sure if it's a bug or just a weird flaw) PERIPHERALS: Won't be needing additional peripherals. I'm already four keyboards and mice deep. (They all have their specific uses.) WHY AM I UPGRADING: I'm upgrading because there are a few games that have recently begun to test my CPU's limits and they're winning. With the new NVENC that got implemented in OBS, it has been less of a problem but would still like other applications to function without the 100% usage input delay. (Recently been experiencing this with Division 2 and Siege while streaming which makes Discord or any of the VOIP services I use to have a bit of a response delay. I also like to keep another game such as Black Desert Online minimized to the system tray in the background for AFK purposes.
  6. Does this include the newer NVENC that was implemented with version 23 for OBS? It was quite a bit smoother for me when using the newer NVENC than previous versions. Even intensive games like Division 1 and 2 were massively smoother for me.
