Hi, I'm writing an essay for school and my subject is How different types of CPU coolers compare to eachother in performance and efficiency. I was wondering if you guys know any good articles or forum posts that surround that topic. Already have some including all wikipedia pages. Looking forward to responses

I was wondering if the fan clips of the Noctua NH-u14S support 140mm fans because the fan used has 120mm mounting holes. I was thinking of using noctua nf-a14 industrial ppc fans instead of the current NF-f12's im using now.

Hi, I'm always using shadowplay while gaming to capture funny moments. But i recently had to turn it of because it massively impacted my framerate. Not by 10 or 20 fps, but to 10 or 20 fps. For example CS:GO, i usually run it on +-300 fps, but when shadowplay is turned on it doesnt reach the 20's. My setup is an i7 6700k with a gtx 1070 and 16 gigs of ram. Anyone knows whats the problem and/or how to fix it so i can use shadowplay again?

its mounted so that the tubes go in at the top. -
I've recently purchased a Cooler master seidon 120V version 2 and with the installation i ran into a problem that the pump made a lot of noise, simply fixed that by using a different fan port and managing the speed of it to a lower RPM. it was very silent But i started my pc up today and it made a different noise than it did before. I know it is the pump because when i change the RPM, the ticking sound goes faster or slower. When i turn my pc 90 degrees, so that the cpu socket is facing up into the sky, it doesnt make the sound anymore. any1 has had this problem before and/or knows how to fix it? thx

2 different sets of ram dont work together
SirWiggel replied to SirWiggel's topic in CPUs, Motherboards, and Memory
I was looking for xmp in my bios settings, but i couldnt find it, PNY advices to turn it on for installing it tho... -
I have a set of 2x4gb Hyperx fury black 1600 ddr3 and I recently purchased a set of PNY 2x4gb 1866 ddr3, but when I tried to put them into my motherboard, gigabyte ga-78lmt-usb3, they won't match. If I put in all 4 of the sticks, my pc won't boot. If I put in one set at a time, it works. If I put in 2 fury sticks and one PNY stick, it only says I have 4 gigs installed. Anyone knows how to fix this?
