  1. My friends PC keeps crashing shortly after starting up a game or while he's playing one. The error has to do with the windows kernel. Bugcheckcode = 0x124. Screenshots of reports: https://gyazo.com/462c40fec482945431043edbc1831baa https://gyazo.com/371696e70b72abda28d11a15764e0a5f If any of you has a solution im more than glad to know.
  2. Hi, I'm writing an essay for school and my subject is How different types of CPU coolers compare to eachother in performance and efficiency. I was wondering if you guys know any good articles or forum posts that surround that topic. Already have some including all wikipedia pages. Looking forward to responses
  3. Thanks, Ive contacted noctua and theyll send me a set for free(gr8 custommer support). I'll test if it works
  4. Ive pulled out one of the fan brackets (while the fan was still running #thuglife) and i tried to mount it on an old 140mm fan and came to the conclusion that it doesnt work.
  5. Had 2 laying around and tought it looked better than that one big and clunky one.
  6. but the standard fan is 140mm in diameter but uses 120mm mounting points so im a little bit confused as if it would work
  7. I was wondering if the fan clips of the Noctua NH-u14S support 140mm fans because the fan used has 120mm mounting holes. I was thinking of using noctua nf-a14 industrial ppc fans instead of the current NF-f12's im using now.
  8. Hi, I'm always using shadowplay while gaming to capture funny moments. But i recently had to turn it of because it massively impacted my framerate. Not by 10 or 20 fps, but to 10 or 20 fps. For example CS:GO, i usually run it on +-300 fps, but when shadowplay is turned on it doesnt reach the 20's. My setup is an i7 6700k with a gtx 1070 and 16 gigs of ram. Anyone knows whats the problem and/or how to fix it so i can use shadowplay again?
  9. Have done that now, already sent an E-mail to Cooler master about this. thanks anyways
  10. I've recently purchased a Cooler master seidon 120V version 2 and with the installation i ran into a problem that the pump made a lot of noise, simply fixed that by using a different fan port and managing the speed of it to a lower RPM. it was very silent But i started my pc up today and it made a different noise than it did before. I know it is the pump because when i change the RPM, the ticking sound goes faster or slower. When i turn my pc 90 degrees, so that the cpu socket is facing up into the sky, it doesnt make the sound anymore. any1 has had this problem before and/or knows how to fix it? thx
  11. I was looking for xmp in my bios settings, but i couldnt find it, PNY advices to turn it on for installing it tho...
  12. I have a set of 2x4gb Hyperx fury black 1600 ddr3 and I recently purchased a set of PNY 2x4gb 1866 ddr3, but when I tried to put them into my motherboard, gigabyte ga-78lmt-usb3, they won't match. If I put in all 4 of the sticks, my pc won't boot. If I put in one set at a time, it works. If I put in 2 fury sticks and one PNY stick, it only says I have 4 gigs installed. Anyone knows how to fix this?
