nunocv got a reaction from Technomancer__ in psu connectors
Dont buy CX... Go for XFX TS series or a Seasonic one. 500-600W will be enough

In my country they are the same price, thats why I choose the TS! Seasonic ones are even cheaper

nunocv got a reaction from GuyNamedBrad in Laptop for University (MacBook)
I was thinking about the Air 13 8gb Ram 128gb SSD. I wont use it for games... For that I have my PC at home, this is just University and work based.
I need Unix based operative system... Windows is like trash for my classes.

I see your point, Im not defending Apple, but their operative system is so much better organized and optimized for what I need, that is programming. Performance for me isnt really important, If I want performance I go to my tower, that has windows. Mac for me is equal to Pc for work, that offers good organization and better tools for Engeneering and programming. I hope you get my point

nunocv got a reaction from Patrick Bateman in New Build
I ain't no fanboy, I had a r9 270, and for the price I paid it was a great card, never had an AMD, was the first one, very good experience. But upgraded it to a 970 (i had a nice deal so)
But this pc is not for me, and the person it is too want Nvidia, so I put Nvidia.
About the cooler, I have the EVO myself, Indeed very good, but Im focusing in asthetics too, so EVO not an option! Beetwen the Be quiet and that beauty of cooler master V8 GTS?

nunocv got a reaction from PlayStation 2 in New GTX 970
Im playing GTA, not maxed out, cant get 60fps with everything max, but playing fine (but coil whine is there. Headset solves the problem), but firestrike finished and my pc had 9k, so I think its just fine. And I OCd it too, getting 1489MHZ stable with no voltage added and I dont think I will add voltage, dont really like it! Coil whine is not increasing with the OC, and just the games that are heavy get it to coil whine, for now is what I can deduce! And temps rounding the 64-65 Celsious under full load.
