  1. I am looking for a software that is able to do Remote Access or VNC for Windows 2000 and can be accessed by any other Windows OS and Android. I use to use TeamViewer, but the current update has stopped me from accessing due to the computer i want to access is Windows 2000. So am windering if there is an alternative software to use and can be remotely accessed by android.
  2. Thanks everyone for replying me with every detail you all have. Was very useful. Got my MX500 and is very satisfied with it!! :)
  3. So I'm deciding on getting an SSD, but considering if I should get 500G or 1T mainly wanting to know what the average lifespan of a MX500 would be in a everyday use. I know it is 5 year warranty, just want to know how long does it usually last when used everyday. Thanks.
  4. @xentropa Thanks for the reply. Yes, i was planning for a Samsung EVO series SSD, but its a little bit pricey in my area and there are literally no Samsung vendors in my area (Taiwan). So warranty would be a major issue. @Electronics Wizardy Thanks for your answer. That is what i was looking for. Stats. I was suggested the MX500. What do you think about it? Any issues so far? Whats the quality of it? Hope it doesn't break easily. Wishing it last for at least 7 years or so since my WD is now 7 years old and still no issues at this point other than it being slow.
  5. So im considering to upgrade my old build from an HDD to an SSD. I already know that SSD's are much faster than HDD's, but was very curious how fast my current WD Caviar Black 1TB is in transfer speed (dont seem to find any info on that because their all in RPM's and i have no clue how it works). For upgrades, anyone have any suggestions for SSD brands and or types? I can only use 2.5 SATA SSD's not more (old build with Maximus 4 Extreme Z mobo).
  6. Yes, im running 3 1080p on my 1070. So im very confident to say that yours will be no issue at all.
  7. Thanks for the replies. Just making sure something is going to work before buying cords and all that. Thanks again!
  8. Well, im trying to figure out which topic my question should be in. Anyways!! Im using a 1070 in my rig along with a triple monitor setup (1080p). Question is, is it possible to add another 4k monitor/TV to this setup and have it all working at the same time, or set it so i can switch from triple monitor to single 4k monitor/tv or something like that? I sometimes want to run games in 4k and sometimes in triple monitor. So asking anyone that has worked with setups like this.
  9. I actually suggest going for Corsair. Had my AX1200 for over 7 years and still works like new. Also, id go a bit bigger watt if your have enough cash. Just in case if you ever wanted to upgrade later on the road. But its up to you.
  10. Well, honest answer would be it really depends on yourself.. I find mine not that bad. It's not comfy like a sofa, and its not hard as a rock. At least it doesn't hurt my back or butt and it keeps me awake (too soft makes me sleepy LOL).
  11. @M.YurizakiSounds nice. Thanks! Btw, another question. As time passes, the computer itself gets slower and slower. Any help with that? Other than reinstalling the whole system and or upgrading to ssd.
  12. @M.Yurizaki I see what your saying. How often do you suggest fragmenting the system?
  13. Hi all! Asking out of curiosity regarding HDD speed boosting. Im using WD Black HDD, and is wondering if anyone has ever installed anything that can boost the reading speed of the HDD. For example, what i currently have is "Intel Rapid Storage Technology" though i have no clue how to use it.. lol Just wondering if anyone has used anything like this and has good experience on it and how to use it.
  14. Slot it in from top (first) and go down. Do not skip a slot unless GPU is blocking it. Most simple way.
