One thing that helped me ALOT was when I realized that I needed to lower my mouse sensitivity. Hard to get used to at first but after a day or two you will start hitting your shots.

The DP cable that came with it, when I try to use any other DP cable it whines about it although I never really see a difference when I did use one that wasn't from LG

So I have a 4790k and a 1080ti and I recently bought a new monitor lg 34uc79g-b. When I first bought the monitor RL ran butter smooth no issues, recently there is stutter when I am playing. I tried everything short of re-installing windows 10. I tried going back to my old screen (60hz) older dell, tried moving game files to SSD and tried using my 980 ti still same issue. Any ideas for a fix that doesn't involve using triple buffering v-sync because that's the only thing that helps but not an option because of input lag.

No it doesn't post, the most progress I made was by swapping in some ripjaws and changing timings then swap back in the patriot ram. It would turn on and off by itself for a while then hang I tried to put in the timings from the spec sheet but no luck

Yeah they work fine in the other pc which is running a 6700k

So i am building a pc for a friend and I got him a R5 1600x and paired it with a msi b350 gaming pro carbon. So I will be getting a new rig soon and I was thinking about using the one I have now to run a dual pc stream. That being said I have a 21:9 monitor and was wondering if there exist a 21:9 capable capture card or would it need to be a 16:9 signal to work properly?

Running a gt 720 in a media box so would be a pretty nice upgrade for that machine so could play some more demanding titles on it.

I did already dedicate 2 gb to the gpu and oc the ram to 2400 and the cpu to 4.4. Just trying to get everything out the the system.

vsync was still on. It stays in the 90% range with it off. So I will wait I few awhile longer. I was also thinking about going from a 970 to the 980ti when it comes out. Do think my cpu would bottleneck that card?
