  1. Doing an install right now. Everything is following through so far.
  2. I'm sorry to ask this, but how do you do a clean install?
  3. The reason all started with GeForce Experience. I made a thread on hear about it and on the PCMR sub on reddit. I tried all their suggestions, but sadly nothing worked. Basically what happened was I had to reinstall drivers, drivers kept failing to install, basically gave up after 2 days of troubleshooting. I am running Windows 10 and I am using a Pentium G3258, GTX 960, 1TB WD BLUE HDD, and a Rosewill Arc 650w Psu. Also thanks for the tip never knew that I could do that.
  4. I want to fully reset my PC because I ran into a problem that I couldn't find an answer too. I reset my PC by using both options it gave me which were "Fully clean this drive" and "Just delete the files" or something i don't remember. Usually it gets pretty close to 100% and then it just says "There was a problem resetting this pc". or "There was a problem resetting this pc. No changes were made." I did a chkdsk and since it finished right when I typed it in I figured that everything on my hard drive was wiped. It's not letting me reset it at all. Also, yes i'm still going to use this pc personally it's just it has run into so many problems I or others can't fix. It's been really frustrating.
  5. It's still not working for some reason. I'm really not sure what is wrong with it.
  6. I did that and now it says NVIDIA Installer Failed and it lists a bunch of software one of which being the graphics driver which says failed next to it. Every other software listed says not installed.
  7. Sorry do you mean kill every open program or all processes in task manger?
  8. I couldn't open GeForce Experience at first , so I looked online and people said to delete the Nvidia Corp folder, then reinstall drivers. I did that and when I restarted it booted into a 1280x1024 res even though I know I can display 1080p. Tried installing drivers and it didn't work. It just says Nvidia installer failed and shows Virtual Audio [ Failed ] and GeForce Experience [ Not Installed ]. I went on EVGA chat support and he told me to download Guru Uninstall Display Drivers. I do that and I boot into safe mode to get it working. I click Clean and Restart option and I'm not sure if it's supposed to restart automatically because it got stuck at a certain process. I restarted and tried to install drivers. This time it now gets stuck at "Installing Graphics Driver". I couldn't access chat support at that time, so I looked online and found that I should run an sfc /scannow in cmd. I did that and it displays this. "Another servicing or repair operation is currently running. Wait for this to finish and run sfc again. I still have a lot of problems with my computer, but I don't want to make this post longer than it already is. Thank you for any suggestions.
  9. Thanks for the welcome! I don't have the money for that right now, but will it reduce performance on my computer if I ever did plug it in using an adapter.
  10. The same thing happened to me but I had a VPN on it banned me for some reason, but when I turned it off I could use Twitch. So look for any programs that might be interfering with Twitch or your internet.
  11. If it were me I would take some parts out and put them back in the antistatic bag just in cause something happens. That's just me.
  12. So I recently moved into a new house and I found that most outlets in my house are two prong only. There are some three prong outlets, but they're in the kitchen. I went out and bought a three prong to two prong adapter for the outlet and I need to confirm this. Is it safe for me to connect my computer to the adapter which connects to the outlet? Is it bad for my computer? Thanks for any responses.
