  1. Right click, on the top click the update icon, "let me choose" option, then just click on the xbox receiver driver (anything should work, perhaps the plug in play one?). I had to do this for my wireless xbox adapter so I chose the "wireless adapter choice" and works flawlessly. EDIT: Just saw your post this should work for 360, but I'm not sure how to make it work on the ORIGINAL controller. (perhaps try using the method above and see if it at least detects it as a 360 controller?)
  2. I also use alt for in game voice in csgo, I just learned not to spam the scoreboard anymore.
  3. if you want some help feel free to add me on steam, ill give you some tips. (I am currently a SMFC, used to play on open teams) Some general things to keep in mind is crosshair placement, knowing when to spray, burst/tap, and just be aware. (game sense)
  4. castle crashers?, just google some indie games, Battleblock theater is also fun.
  5. same here Yeah I used nvidia share(shadowplay) to keep an eye on fps as well.
  6. Like the title says (things like temps, usage etc...), just wondering For me I always have HWMonitor or Afterburner up on my second monitor, and I also have NVIDIA Share running to show fps and record. (Shadow Play "Beta")
  7. Yeah I know I messed up, I'm thinking of trying a fresh install like that. Also ssd is first and my hdd is second, usb is third. Yeah I tried unplugging it as I stated above same issue occurred. Nope raid is not enabled. I'm also thinking this could be a bios problem because sometimes I've seen that the cpu usage randomly goes to 100 with no process supporting it. (doesn't show up in resource monitor or task manager) I've seen many forums saying that a bios update could fix this, Now I'm thinking thus could be the motherboard messing everything up. I'll most likely contact msi to see what the latest bios update for my motherboard is known to fix.
  8. Tried disabling the sound drivers didn't seem to help, can't seem to find any firmware updates for my drives. I did try using another port same problem occurred after while, and I just checked my caviar blue actually it says caution. But I've tried installing a game only on my ssd (this hdd unplugged still got the same issue) so I'm not sure if this could 100% be the issue.
  9. I'll try this soon. Also I don't know if you saw my post above but I found out that like my old gpu the usage drops when the stutter happens.
  10. - Yeah I have three Realtek High Def. Audio, NVIDIA High Def. Audio, and NVIDIA Virtual Audio Device (Wave Extensible) (WDM) - I don't have any wireless adapters installed
  11. - Yeah it is set as AHCI - I thought no matter the system ram you should still keep paging enabled just so windows itself can perform at its peak. (even if its not used.) I'd like to get your opinion on it though.
  12. Yes I even tried updating the firmware on my ssd, (from the crucial site) and paging is active for my main drive. (the ssd, set to auto). I'm not sure what you mean by "you did set ahci before you formatted the drive?". I appreciate the help - No my processor does not have hyperthreading. - No I dont have a bunch of sound drivers installed, just latest realtek. (My computer is overall fairly clean/kept with drivers and updates.) - What would be the reasoning to turn off auto updates?
  13. Nothings out dated.
  14. I've actually read something about this on another forum, but it seems like my temp. is perfectly fine while gaming 60-68C usually. Ill keep you posted.
  15. I actually tried this earlier as well, didn't seem to help. I actually just updated windows right now, I doubt that's any help though.
  16. I actually don't have any wireless cards, run on Ethernet using the default port on my motherboard. Ill keep you posted though
  17. Hey I actually tried monitoring the situation again, (witch afterburner this time) and I found that for some reason... like my old gpu, the gpu usage dips down when this issue is occuring. I normally get around 55-70% usage when playing a game. (tested on CS:GO) But when this problem was occurring the usage dipped down to around 30-47%. (I thought this issue was gone after the gpu upgrade but I guess not.) Any ideas?, anything specific I should be monitoring?
  18. I'll see what I can do tomorrow and get back to you, thanks for the help.
  19. Yeah I'm getting the same issue, just played a game for a bit had to restart twice to get rid of the problem. So I'm guessing HDD isn't the issue. I didn't notice anything odd processes either.
  20. yeah thanks for help, ill get back to you
