  1. Pretty sure I found the answer to our questions. Look at the image I've included.
  2. I spoke with XFX directly, they said they've not had any issues, but others are having the same issues with other board partner versions as well, so I don't think it's brand related. I am going to mess around with the card a bit more... even AMD's driver site says it accepts 8.1/8 but.. when you try to update the Microsoft Display Adapter with the drivers, it says there are no drivers for your hardware. Very very strange issue.
  3. Sadly, after I do my Windows 10 review of the card, I will most likely be returning it due to this issue, unless AMD releases some sort of 8.1 fix.
  4. Sure enough, I popped in my OCZ drive that had Windows 10 installed, picked up the video card right away. Although I prefer 8.1 enterprise, at least I can review the card.
  5. As i read the box, I think you may be right.. Strange as it says 7 and 10.. but not 8 or 8.1.
  6. I've even formatted another SSD I have with a new install of Windows and still having the same issue. I'll have to test in another board to see if it has the same issue.
  7. Yeah, that's what I am thinking as well, I've ran DDU as well.
  8. Same issue with mine, this is the RX 480 XFX branded card, seen a few other people on Twitter with the same issue.
  9. I will miss you man, we both shared the same type of love and passion for the same things - Rest In Peace my friend. http://www.jonesfune...ituaries/101880

  11. Yeah, I found that kinda odd too, but it's listed that way on all the sites and on their site as well. http://www.ecs.com.tw/ECSWebSite/Product/Product_Detail.aspx?DetailID=1571&CategoryID=1&MenuID=189&DCID=2&LanID=0 I figured it was just some sort of "money" savings crap that ECS did, I wouldn't trust much more than a i3 in this board to be honest.
  12. Here's a photo of the top after taking off the side panel and top panel and installing the Antec PSU, love how all 3 panels were removable. Back shot of the PSU installed. Top shot of the cables I won't be using bundled up and hidden in the 5.25 slot space. Cables from front of case and PSU I will be using for the build. Photos of the one side mounted OCZ Arc 100 SSD drive. Photo after putting the motherboard in, fits pretty well in a basic case due to the dull color scheme of the board. Photo after installing the CPU, Ram, hooking up the PSU cables and running the rear exhaust fan. Photo of all the panel connectors hooked up, amazingly enough this case did have two front USB ports. Screenshot after testing my 8.1 install, which went much faster than I expected, this hardware was much better than I expected it to be speed wise. Photo of the inside after I tied up all the cables before the final case reassembly, looks much cleaner than I expected it would. Photo of the back after it was all reassembled and put together. Photo of the side panel with the exhaust vent. and the last photo, of the front after the final assembly.
  13. I like them too, plain, simple and clean, I'll post more of this build once I start on it.
  14. Hey guys, thanks for replying, hey Gofspar, how you been? Long time no chat, still using the 3770k? Update to the project, found a 80mm fan for rear exhaust, brand new one I took out of a Rosewill case awhile ago.
