  1. I don't mind the adds, its more the way they get to me I find disturbing, Listening to my environment through my tech devices and following me around I feel is an invasion to my privacy. This potentially coming from a company making games, Imagine what law enforcement/governments will be doing when this becomes the norm, There are enough people with gambling issues already, imagine someone with this problem having a slot machine following them around 24/7 for an example. Most people dont even know thay have a gambling/impulse problem
  2. Changed the heading after I finished reading the whole document.
  3. Its possible your right, that info seems to be redacted, It shows anthem at the top in the pictures. There is a link to MIT for the audio algorithim, It may very be a proposal for EA. Either way its pretty scary stuff though.
  4. According to this its already here, well some of it, more like most of it. Implementation of 5G networks will turn out lives in to walking advertisements once there is more bandwidth out there.
  5. yeah I know it breaks some rules, But I think the information it provides is worth it.
  6. AA proposal for EA from a company affiliated with MIT (I changed the heading it was a bit untrue) Games aren't just games anymore. They are a marketing tool to get more money out of you, They will use AI to track your location via your phone, or any internet device and follow you around placing adds adds all over the place referring you to the game for micro-transactions. In one place it states it will listen to you at home and if it hears a baby cry it will stop with the adds, and when the AI thinks the baby has stopped and is sleeping it will bombard you with adds for the game. They have placed cameras in billboards etc to use face recognition to show you adds all over the place. There is much more in the article, its quite scary stuff. The Ai will work out where you home is by tracking your movements, if your at a place for 8 hours or more over night it will figure out your location via phones gps and internet then your address by tracking your phone data, It will listen for engine noise to see if your in a car just to name a few things. https://imgur.com/a/rhFuj
  7. Looks like Linus has the same idea as me. Max out a 5960 build to get over the next couple of years. Cant wait for PCIE 4, I think that will be the next major upgrade for us, double the current bandwidth. I honestly don't think cpu advances will do much for us any more except force us to change chipsets. Moores law is slowing down now. I hope I'm alive to play a quantum gaming machine when they exist. Imagine a quantum powered gpu.
  8. Currently on an overclocked 3960x at 4.6ghz x2 7 series nvidia vid cards OC on the water loop as well. ocz revodrive 3 x2 16 gig 1600mhz ram on the top x79 g1 board I've decided to buy a maxed out x99 system then, 5960x G1 Gigabyte board x2 G1 8gb 980 Ti's x32 gig gskill 2800 DD4 x1 intel 750 PCIE 400gb x4 ssd raid 550 write on a custom loop I figure with skylake coming out, soon, and then PCIE 4 coming out in 2017, thats basically 2 new motherboards in 2 years so I figure Ill max out an x99 system to get me through the next 3-4 years. Im not rich but I have no problem affording parts so price i'snt really a problem. Or should I wait for skylake, Leaked results show it not to be to special though.
  9. I've read that directx 12 will may make games utilize all cores on a cpu. If so will enthusiast chips now be worth buying for gaming only machines ?
