  1. The best way how to waste money uselessly...
  2. It's SATA, so it won't be as fast, but honestly you'll probably never notice. You can also look for availability of Kingston KC2000 - that's NVMe, around 20€ more expensive than the Corsair but more comparable in terms of speed. Apparently nobody in Europe has those MP510s in stock...
  3. Look up the PSU model here, if it's B or above it's fine Go with what @Epimetheus recommended - the RX 5700XT is better than the 2070 super. The CPU right now is pretty much the go-to for 1440p gaming and productivity, with the 3600 being great for gaming as well
  4. Oh right, the RX 5700 XT exists kinda forgot
  5. I mean you could probably squeeze another year, maybe 2 out of it, if it overclocks well.

  7. Hi! what budget do you have? Anything you want to keep from this PC?
  8. Of the ones you listed it doesn't matter. Right now "future proof" motherboards are AMD X570 due to PCIe 4.0 That doesn't exist yet that seems like BS - a lot of prebuilts have had that combo

  10. They're pretty tied so if it's cheaper, go for the 2700X
  11. I'd go for 3600 if I were you, but do Czech compatability with your motherboard - not all 300 series boards will be compatible with 3rd gen Ryzen

  13. Ok, in that case it's a solid build
  14. Hi! See what CrystalDiskInfo or HWiNFO tells you about the drive, and back up all your important data to somewhere else. Then if it's on Steam you can run "Verify game installation" and it will pick up any missing files.
  15. It's basically what I have and I'm super happy with my rig. The X570-F has the same VRM as the X570-TUF, so if you're concerned about power delivery, maybe go for the more expensive X570-E. Might also want a better cooler for the CPU but it will work fine with stock. 16. ehm... Secret? For, you know, very obvious security reasons? @GabenJr
  17. Don't 500GB SSDs have better price/capacity in your region? Also going 20$ above the cheapest can get you a looot better SSD Czech out these drives: Seagate Baracuda SSD WD Green WD Blue Kingston UV500 Crucial BX500 Crucial MX500
  18. Yes the Kingston KC2000 is NVMe 3200/2200 Mb/s read/writes
  19. for static pressure operations, such as pushing / pulling air through a radiator, Noctua NF-F12 or NF-A12x25 are better than the S12A. the A12 can get a bit loud above some 1300-1500 rpm
  20. I've had great experience with both, we have a mix of WD Greens and Seagate manufactured HP drives in a parity storage space, I've had a RAID1 of 2 Seagate desktops for a long time, my dad has a Seagate and a WD. Get whatever type of drive that suits your needs from whoever has better pricing in your region.
  21. I had the Samsung 850 as OS drive before, and for normal use I basically can't tell a difference with the NVMe. Max when I'm moving something to the Samsung. My concern is that the backups can be 100GB a pop, and I worry that the caching algorithm on the 660p will not keep up, and that the endurance of qlc will not be sufficient. I do have a spare M.2 slot on my PC, complete with a heatsink to hide the ugly green PCB ? but I tend to think the same.
  22. Hello there! right now there's a little discount from my retailer on Seagate Barracuda SSD 1TB making it 100€. I can also get an Intel 660p 1TB for slightly more - call it 110€. Question is, should I go for either? I could use some extra storage - I installed around 20 games I want to play and my new Kingston 1TB NVMe SSD is at 25% remaining capacity ? - but I still have my "old" Samsung 850 Evo 500GB. The way I use my secondary SSD is that I have it as a target whenever I'm backing up something else - be it my primary SSD, my laptop, a drive from another PC... - and I store and edit my photos from it, and it's the location of my OneDrive folder, which is set up as a target for Windows File History daily backups. Plus I expect to swap games around fairly often, so overall I think that the write load on the SSD would be rather signifficant. The 660p is rated for 200TBW, the Seagate is for 485TBW. If I get a new SSD the 850 Evo will go to my dad's machine to cache our networked Storage Space of 4 1TB hard drives in parity setup. Alternatively I can get the Seagate for my father as he has a Kingston A400 1TB which is... slow AF. doesn't go above 350 MB/s on sequential read. So I could get it for him to have a better OS drive. His PC is Z77 based and doesn't have NVMe support. Which one would you go for for storing games, backups and media and photo editing? Or should I get it for my father? Or should I wait and get it later? Or not at all? Soo many options please help me!
  23. consider undervolting in BIOS by a 0.05 negative offset. Might tame the beast a bit. EDIT: Nevermind I'm an illiterate idiot apparently.
